Leicester_Mad Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Fryatt starts for Spearing, Howard playing as well...not sure if Waghorn is in the team
Dylan Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 Fryatt starts for Spearing, Howard playing as well...not sure if Waghorn is in the team Please tell me ya joking. Spearing HAS to start, and Fryatt should be on the bench.
Dylan Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 City: Weale - Solano, Hobbs ©, Bruce, Berner - Dyer, Wellens, King, Gallagher - Fryatt, Howard Subs: Logan, N'Guessan, Spearing, Vaughan, Waghorn, Morrison, Kermorgant Don't know how Spearing's not playing and Fryatt is. Spearing's been our best player lately, and Fryatt doesn't look match fit. Oh well, hopefully its tactical genius from NP.
flanimal Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Please tell me ya joking. Spearing HAS to start, and Fryatt should be on the bench. So, they are going for: Weale Solano Bruce Hobbs Berner Gallagher King Wellens Fryatt Howard Waghorn ???? Or something like that? Not liking that formation.
Leicester_Mad Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 no waghorn who will fight for every ball instead they play fryatt who wont risk his jaw? not happy....howard for Spearing i can understand... and bloody hell thats an attackin bench
Salieri Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 So, they are going for: Weale Solano Bruce Hobbs Berner Gallagher King Wellens Fryatt Howard Waghorn ???? Or something like that? Not liking that formation. Waghorns out. Presume its a straight 442 with Gally and Dyer out wide. Surprised Spearing and Waggy are omitted but i'm sure Nige knows what he's doing.
Collymore Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 City: Weale - Solano, Hobbs ©, Bruce, Berner - Dyer, Wellens, King, Gallagher - Fryatt, Howard Subs: Logan, N'Guessan, Spearing, Vaughan, Waghorn, Morrison, Kermorgant Don't know how Spearing's not playing and Fryatt is. Spearing's been our best player lately, and Fryatt doesn't look match fit. Oh well, hopefully its tactical genius from NP. Very surprised to see Fryatt start, although Dublin said it would be a certainty on Sunday.... hang on ,where's Waghorn?
Hitesh Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 4-4-2 by the sounds of it. Going back to League 1 stylee with the Howard/Fryatt combo up front...
lcfcsnow Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 City: Weale - Solano, Hobbs ©, Bruce, Berner - Dyer, Wellens, King, Gallagher - Fryatt, Howard Way to kill the excitement Pearson, misery guts. If Vaughan is available he starts ahead of them both surely. King ahead of Spearing after Sunday?????????!?!??!?!?!??!
Dylan Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 Spearing must be carrying a knock or something. Cause otherwise there is no justifiable reason imo for dropping him. He's class, calm and composed.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Another good omen : I saw the 'penalty shootout' style question in the final round of the weakest link this evening and it was between two blokes called Dave and Nigel, Nigel won 4-1
Cropwellfox Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Cannot understand that team selection at all. In NP we trust, but to bench Waggy for what is probably his last ever game for us? What's that about? Just don't understand it at all. This isn't going to go well.
flanimal Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Waghorn, Vaughan, N'Guessan - probably impact impact subs. Fryatt and Howard, I'm really not sure. I guess they have a partnership.
FoxyPV Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Waghorn, Vaughan, N'Guessan - probably impact impact subs. Fryatt and Howard, I'm really not sure. I guess they have a partnership. Agree (but are they so good they are double impact subs?)
lcfcsnow Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Waghorn, Vaughan, N'Guessan - probably impact impact subs. Fryatt and Howard, I'm really not sure. I guess they have a partnership. Vaughan, Waghorn, Kermo have all played more football in the past month, its a ridiculous decision to play two forwards nowhere near match fit in the most important game of the season! They had a partnership in League 1, they are playing against top opposition here.
Dylan Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 This could be a piece of tactical genius from NP or could go horribly wrong and not work at all. Hopefully our defence stays solid no matter what happens attacking wise, giving us a chance till the last second of the game.
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I think Waghorn and Spearing as impact subs could be quite beneficial come the 65 minute ... maybe a start for fryatt is the kick start he needs. COME ON LCFC!
Leicester_Mad Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 in nigel we must trust! he has got us this far and i still cant believe we are where we are...off down the pub now so for those staying on here cheer the blue army on.... WHO ARE WE???
isaidno Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I agree with Howard coming back in for Spearing, but Fryatt clearly wasn't match fit on Sunday
Edmund Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Weale, Solano, Hobbs, Bruce, Berner, Gallagher, Wellens, King, Dyer, Fryatt, Howard
FoxyPV Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Waghorn was ineffective for us in the first leg. That's because all the balls played into him were 8 feet in the air and their two giant centre backs dominated (predictably). If Howard/ a target man was playing Waghorn would have been more effective.
