jamie20lcfc Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 This topic has already been discussed no doubt but as i only joined up yesterday, just wanted to see what peoples opinions were of the home atmosphere, and ways to make atmosphere better at home games new songs maybe???
Tommeh Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Only advice I'd give is go to the back of the Kop and stand up. The kop is loud when we're winning/pushing on 2nd half and L/k are very good with big away followings. Our home atmosphere really isn't that bad at all compared to many, just away we've got much worse.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Clock some of the decent original efforts in here and learn them. I personally think a mass migration of all the standers/singers in the South Stand to N Block (thereby surrounding the away fans with L1/K on the other side) would do more for the atmosphere than anything else. However, I recognise that this is sadly highly unlikely due to the obsession that some folks have with the South Stand being a direct descendant of the Filbo Kop. That's not to say I don't think those in the South Stand are incapble of creating an atmosphere - the last couple of times I've been in there were actually surprisingly quite good. But in terms of creating a better atmosphere I feel they should all be concentrated in one or two blocks from the back all the way down to the front rather than spreading themselves along the back few rows of a whole stand. Just a case of simple logistics really.

They would be considered to be the best seats so they're not going to become available unless the present occupant goes bankrupt, becomes totally disillusioned with LCFC, pissed off with those behind them standing or dies.
Yojoe36 Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 The atmosphere seemed to have died down over the years. But on the 1st leg, it was great (at the beggining and before kick-off)
LCFC-ARAB Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Move to L1. everybody. now. even people who dont stand and sing.
AndyBrew Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 thinking about season tickets this year for us we like to sit as close to the noise as possible where's the best place within the kop to ensure we don't get stuck with a bunch of happy clappers all season?
jonthefox Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 just all move to the kop ffs. i reckon if jobber moved , the rest in turn would follow.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 just all move to the kop ffs. i reckon if jobber moved , the rest in turn would follow. No we wouldnt... we were in L1 before jobber and his drum
LeicesterLuke Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Move Jobba to the KOP, or get a drum in the KOP. I tend to look at L1 when they score and they always do one better then us in the KOP. Espeically after the goal song (which is totaly shit, if any goal song bring back chelsea dagger) when he plays that tune and you just see them bouncing. Imagine that in the KOP <3

Matt Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Can someone explain something, maybe i'm thick, stupid, but I just don't get it, why do people want Jobber to move? I don't sit L1 so go no bias towards it but if people really need a Jobber to celebrate, get the atmosphere going, and almost orchestrate people then that explains alot why the atmosphere is poor. Do fans really need to be told what to sing, told when they need to celebrate and make some noise? It won't be long before it'll be like a TV Studio with electronice signs saying when people should applause.

Jobber doesn't actually start that many songs, he does the beat to ring of fire and that blues song, aswell as the goal celebration thingy we do but apart from that he doesnt vocally start songs very often they have capo's in Europe which work very well If jobber tried he could turn Filbert Ways atmosphere around people respect him, he has links inside the club and all the kids look up to him no idea why he doesnt try and start something like they have at Palace with the Holmsdale Fanatics or Celtics Green Brigade it could work at Leicester

A genuinely large section of Ultra fans would be fantastic, maybe it'd be worth someone contacting him and getting him on board.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Move to L1. everybody. now. even people who dont stand and sing. Got my season ticket as an early bird, SOLD OUT in L, Only seats availible in K. So has to settle for the back of SK2
Matt Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Got my season ticket as an early bird, SOLD OUT in L, Only seats availible in K. So has to settle for the back of SK2 If L1 has sold out why don't the people who want to go over there go into K? Obviously not everyone is going to get in L1 because there are not enough seats, so if everyone then goes in K join in the atmosphere from L1, build the atmosphere round block by block.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 K is getting bigger and louder every season so if i was anybody wanting to be were the atmosphere is, i would move to K before thats sold out and you have to move to J3

Ozwin Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 So K is the place to be? I think I'll be moving there next season then, I was in the middle of SK2 this season and jesus it's dead, people fear the 'stand up if you love Leicester' chant which says it all.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 tempting. Do it mate K is pretty much just as good as L1 you don't want to be the last person singing and standing in the kop, so do it before everyone else does next season will be my 6th in L1 and i seriously have never looked back, it has got better every season
