purpleronnie Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Have to say I was amazed how much the US cities did to promote the game, it was just like england practically every major city had a fan park with big screens where 1000's turned up (despite the time difference) some opened stadiums to accomadate the crowds. My mate from boston went out to the bar 2 hours before kickoff but couldnt get in anywhere, he ended up watching it from outside . And text me after the US goal and then I had to listen to 1-0 and you fooked it up sang by what sounded like the whole bar, seems english songs are popular in boston!
