Narborough_fox Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 IanStringerBBC Spoken with LCFC chief executive Lee Hoos regarding Pearson reasons, buy outs, retaining players+relationships at the top. 104.9fm from 7am From Stringer's Twitter. Could be interesting. If not worthy of a thread please merge, cheers.
jimmer Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 From Stringer's Twitter. Could be interesting. If not worthy of a thread please merge, cheers. Retaining players? some of our best on their way then <_<
Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Bet its another crappy Interview where nothing is given away whatsoever.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Buy outs is a point of interest, especially given some of the reports from reliable sources on here recently.
Foxes_Trust Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Some of the questions raised in the article yesterday have tonight been asked by Radio Leicester and the answers can be heard tomorrow, more details here http://foxestrust.co.uk/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=885&Itemid=2 I see someone has picked up Ian Stringer's tweet about the interview too
john_lcfc Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 What does the Foxes Trust think/do for the fans, about the ridiculous ticket prices our club currently has?
Edmund Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 If you were real fans you'd just post the answers up on here. This is a fans messageboard afterall. Why turn it into a publicity stunt to try and raise the listening figures of BBC radio Leicester? The fact is you could tell the fans directly now and on the radio. That way it would reach more people instead of trying to milk it for all it's worth.
Foxes_Trust Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 What does the Foxes Trust think/do for the fans, about the ridiculous ticket prices our club currently has? With the club losing millions per season, the club does not believe reducing them will overall generate more income for the club, ie the increased sales from additional lower priced tickets would not cover the loss of revenue of reducing prices. The other arguement used is that we are not the most expensive in the division, based on last seasons prices we are middle of the division, although the just a ticket limited quantity aids that position Football prices in general are far too high in this country in comparison to Europe, the average pay of a Premiership or even Championship footballer is incredibly high & until this issue is addressed, we can't see prices coming down. Our main focus over the last couple of years was to reduce prices for the teenage years, so fans aren't lost for life at that age & the club did adjust it's pricing structure for the 09/10 season as a response to our suggestions
Cheese Me Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 TBF I expect they haven't heard the answers yet. Stringer's hardly going to give them away before it's been on his radio show is he

Radio Leicester did the interview, we haven't heard the answers ourselves as yet (or indeed know which questions were answered). When we sent the questions to Lee Hoos, we encouraged him to reply via the media, so all could hear it We will listen, take note & then follow up those which have not been answered directly with the club

I was under the impression you knew already and were leading people on to tune into bbc radio Leicester. My apologies

Foxes_Trust Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 but you will be posting some sort of summary on your site, yes? just for us people who aren't avid radio leicester listeners, (ie when the internet decides to work). Will probably link to the BBC I Player & state the time of the relevant interview
Alexikokopops Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Will probably link to the BBC I Player & state the time of the relevant interview Any plans for those who live abroad? You used to not be able to get iPlayer abroad, although I don't know if that's changed. Just saving Valerenga the job of asking (he lives in Norway).

Matt Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Lee Hoos should be a poltician, He's great at not answering the question being asked and rebounding it. Stringer; "Did you have a good relationship with Nigel Pearson?" Hoos; "I had a better relationship with him than you" He then went on to leave questions such as "Did you have a good working relationship with Pearson", "Were you on speaking terms", "Was there a breakdown", "Was there a bust up" all unanswered, just pussyfooting around the questions and having a joke with Stringer.
hemelfox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Why couldn't he just come out and say yes ... It was so obvious.
C-man Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Did he say anything about players leaving? Not bothered if he had a bust up with NP, that's over now.
Jay Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 sounds like NP liked to fall out with everyone and anyone
bluebeau Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Bet its another crappy Interview where nothing is given away whatsoever. I've just listened to Hoos interview. What did he tell/reveal to us? Precisely F--k All ! I don't trust this geezer at all. Apparently this was only part of the interview, more on Radio Leicester at 5pm today. If it's as good as this mornings, don't get too excited!
Unit Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 So did anyone listen in this morning? Nope, I tried to cook an omlette but it went wrong and looked like sick.
bluebeau Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Was this in relation to this? Yes, Stringer was asking him questions put forward by Foxes Trust, but nothing given away by Hoos.
bluebeau Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 So did anyone listen in this morning? Yes, see 'The Hoos Interview' on this forum.
