Oh, and I'm thinking we should take a couple of weeks' break before we set up the new seasons' game.

Still looking for opinions on which carset we should do though.

JUPP "OVERWHELMED" BY TITLE SUCCESS.

Ashley Jupp was a figure of emotion and jubilation after a successful season in Formula Foxestalk. The 18 year old finally secured a drivers title in his eleventh season in the sport. After three runner-up finishes, Jupp finally managed to secure a place in the record books.

"I'm so happy, you know." Jupp told us, looking evidently very emotional, "The dream has come true - and I can now call myself a champion. I'm part of the winners' club and hopefully other drivers may have more respect for me now. So many times I've screwed up in a title race so i'm delighted I've been able to hold on."

Speaking of his team-mate Fi Ridgwell, and the Red Bell team which helped him to victory, Jupp said he had only good things to say. "They're amazing, all the guys - who've worked hard on the car, this is for them. And Fi, too, has been excellent. Deserved her second place in the championship so much and we've done everything right. An unbelievable season has occurred and I still don't think it has sunk in yet.

Clearly reluctant to focus too much on next season, in an attempt to savour the moment, Jupp did however confirm that he would be considering a different situation. "Fi is a wonderful team-mate, and always has been, but I think it's time to partner someone else. There are loads of good drivers I've never raced with...Alex, Matt M...and then there's the new boys who I'd be very happy to team with too."

He also admitted he is considering publishing an extended piece of writing about his time in Formula Foxestalk to date.

I've been dumped. :o Oh. :( Charming.

The two of us together is too dangerous a combination, and the rest of the field clearly can't handle it.

Need to give 'em a bit of a chance, eh? :P

Very happy to have finished 5th in my very first season of Batracer.

Ah, I've just worked out who you are! And, yes, well done.

If only I had the race pace. pretty disappointed with 10th to be quite honest.

Don't be, sunshine.

In my first season, I partnered Chris in a mid-table car and I finished 9th. What you'll have learned from him though will be invaluable for future seasons. I think you'd be a really interesting driver to partner next season...

POTTER SLAMS WALLACE!

[steve Potter last night made an astonishing attack on his team and team mate claiming they're not good enough!

After finishing 11th he claimed his team made several errors especially giving his team mate the number 1 car,

Potter ' i can't believe they gave him the number one spot, i've showed this season that i can finish races, but he couldn't even do his runs'

He even went as far as stating his intention to leave Wallace.

After being asked if he will be driving for Wallace next season his reaction was 'i doubt it highly, i have high expectations and this team can't fulfil my ambitions.

After this outburst i think it's highly likely he will be moving on.

Meh, dissapointed with 9th, would have probably been higher if I had finished more races and had some more help with setups.

Congrats Nuss, dominated throughout the season. :)

Me thinks turning your aggression slider down a little might have helped. :giggle:

Anyone know if I can get the season standing after each race?

Yes mate.

If you go on Results > Season Standings > Season > View: Championship Points - it'll show you the points situation after each race ;)

Formula FoxesTalk 2010 – The best year?

After a thrilling Formula FoxesTalk season many pundits have said that the 2010 season may have been the best season of the lot. But was it?

Bahrain (Race 1) – After an eventful qualifying session which finished with Team Wales driver Martin Southam on pole fans were right to expect an eventful race. A frantic start to the race meant that Red Bell driver Fi Ridgewell took top spot; the biggest winners were Matt McCaughan and Matt Gray who both made up 4 places. The first retirement of the season came from Mernandez who lost Laurence Hammond to tyre wear on lap 21. On lap 32 Ashley Jupp gained 1st place and kept hold it for the rest of the race, Matt McCaughan came behind Jupp in 2nd place with Chris Louth in 3rd after gaining 10 places.

Fans hoped for more of the same as the 2010 season got off to an astonishing start.

Melbourne (Race 2) – A topsy turvy qualifying session left Red Bell driver Fi Ridgewell to grab her first pole of the season meaning she would start from the front in Melbourne. A great start from the front 3 drivers meant that the front all stayed the same, however further down the field chaos was caused with drivers taking here there and everywhere with Laurence Hammond making up 5 places and Ben Stapleford losing 7. Normal service was resumed in the following laps. After running 5 laps under the safety car it looked like the race could be ending under Safety Car conditions. With 2 laps left the safety car was called in which left Chris Louth to take the chequered flag at his home race and gain his first win of the season. Ashley Jupp (2nd) and with Laurence Hammond (3rd) made up the podium.

A dull Melbourne race was greeted with poor reception by the fans and the pundits.

Sepang (Race 3) – Red Bell grabbed their second pole of the year but Ashley Jupp started from the front at the Sepang Circuit. Once again a good start from the pole sitter with carnage further down the field. Jovan Matijas was the biggest loser losing 4 places with Hammond gaining 3 places. As it looked like Red Bell were going to get their 2nd win of the season with Ashley Jupp once more a driver error made Jupp lose control of his car and crash at the last corner letting Chris Louth through who had to keep a came head to gain his 2nd win of the season. He duly obliged which gave him and Reno back-to back wins.

A pulsating end to a very dull Sepang race many pundits and fans hoped the next race would end like the last

Shanghai (Race 4) – A second pole in a row for Ashley Jupp and a third for Red Bell meant that Red Bell had the upper hand going into the Chinese Grand Prix. A chaotic start almost leading to a red flag left Matt Gray (Reno) and Steve Potter (Wallace) out after a collision. Pole-sitter Ashley Jupp lost 2 places after a terrible start, team-mate and home favourite Fi Ridgewell making up 3 places as she looked to recreate her form from last season which won her the title. Title contender Ashley Jupp was out of the race after 24 laps because of a driver error. Championship leader Chris Louth was out of the race as Fi Ridgewell passed Matt McCaughan 5 laps from the end as a pulsating race was came to the end with a lame finish.

After 4 races of the season it was Chris Louth leading the way with 66 points closely followed on 63 points by Matt McCaughan

Barcelona (Race 5) – Fierce Indian driver Alex cook gained his and his team’s first pole position after snatching pole from Martin Southam (Team Wales). Another frantic start led to 2 drivers going out on the first lap with Matt McCaughan and Jovan Matijas collided leaving both racers off. Renowned for her amazing starts Fi Ridgewell once again made blistering start off the line making up 4 places as Alex Cook lost 1st place to Laurence Hammond. On lap 34 the Safety car was needed after a collision including Fi Ridgewell and Laurence Hammond, this was only the 2nd time the safety car had come out in 5 races. Many drivers reacted by going into the pits straight after the Safety car was out and putting on new tyres. After a full set of pit stops it finished with Ashley Jupp in the lead with Chris Louth very close behind. After 18 laps of Louth harassing the back of Jupp’s car Jupp crossed the finish line less than 3 seconds ahead of Louth.

With Chris Louth gaining 18 points Ashley Jupp could only close down the gap by 7 points leaving Louth in the lead after an amazing Spanish Grand Prix.

Monaco (Race 6) – Team Wales took the first front row lockout of the season in qualifying after Matt McCaughan came 1st with team-mate Martin Southam in 2nd . A less chaotic start in Monaco than the last 2 races led to only 1 retirement; however the collision which caused the collision did re-ignite a battle from Barcelona when Fi Ridgewell wiped out Laurence Hammond. A minor collision between Chris Louth and Daniel Cox was the only other incident at Monaco after Matt McCaughan romped home to victory a minute faster than his closest competitor Ashley Jupp who passed Daniel Cox on the last lap to gain 2nd place after one of the dullest ever Formula FoxesTalk races to ever take place.

After 6 pulsating races Chris Louth’s lead had been cut to 8 points by Matt McCaughan and closely on McCaughan’s tail was Ashley Jupp who was only 2 points behind McCaughan and 10 behind Jupp.

Well here is what I had done so far. (Just not to disappoint you to much)
