DeclanMC Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Leicester City and Oldham Athletic go in search of silverware tonight, when they go head to in the final of last season's totesport.com League Cup. The match will take place at Quorn FC in Leicestershire after weather and other commitments made it impossible to get the tie played last season. Leicester reached the final after topping the Group 1 table, with two wins from their three games. They then beat S****horpe United 5-0 in their semi- final which was played last season. That explains it. From Reserve League
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Might go to this, 10 minute walk from my house, any one got any idea what squad City will have availlable?

andy_croydz Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 I know this isn't related to the match but... The manager of Quorn, Dougie Keast used to be my P.E teacher when I was in year 7 The man is a legend.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Anyone got any idea how much admission for this is likely to be?
andy_croydz Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Anyone got any idea how much admission for this is likely to be? Doesn't seem to say on the Quorn website, it might be free, if they are charging then I am certain it won't be more than £2-4 admission.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 who is the reserve team manager these days? Rudkin
Fosse Boy Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 If I'd known about this earlier and had the readies I'd have been well up for this. Good work OS...
andy_croydz Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 If I'd known about this earlier and had the readies I'd have been well up for this. Good work OS... Agreed, I can't believe how late notice we had They should have put this up on the OS a few days ago not 4 hours before KO.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Suppose i'm lucky it's only down the road, will be my 4th visit to Quorn's ground, more than any other beside Filbo and Walkers
Lillehamring Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 back 4 of Lamey - Parkes - Vitor - Berner - could be a sign of things to come?
dandannieldanok Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Anyone got any idea how much admission for this is likely to be? If it's normal Quorn prices then I think it's either £8 or £10 for adults, and £5 for concessions, so pretty darn expensive. Don't hold to me that though.

Cheese Me Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 WTF is Berner doing in that squad? Understand giving Vitor and Lamey a run out but Bruno?????
andy_croydz Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 WTF is Berner doing in that squad? Understand giving Vitor and Lamey a run out but Bruno????? Maybe he isn't match fit yet and wants more games under his belt to get his match sharpness back.
Unabomber Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Berner didn't look anywhere near fit enough v Palace, so it is only a good thing him getting a run out tonight.
davieG Posted 11 August 2010 Author Posted 11 August 2010 It's a fiver and 3 quid for concessions/kids Not sure what the age breaks are.
unreachable Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Can't see the match on Foxes Player. OS said it might happen - anybody get any news about transmission?
