Matt Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 Probable Squads Arsenal Team Lehmann Cole English Campbell English Touré Lauren Reyes Gilberto Vieira Fabregas Pires Bergkamp. Bloody el' is Wenger feeling ok - 2 englishmen in the team! Shocked! All I was asking for was 2 or more british players in the team but 2 English Man Utd Team Carroll Brown Ferdinand Silvestre O'Shea Fletcher Keane © Scholes Ronaldo Van Nistelrooy Rooney C'MON UNITED ...BEAT DIRTY ARSENAL
C-man Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 Dirty Arsenal Does anybody remember Wenger slagging City off for drawing 0-0 and beating them on penalties in the worthington cup a few years back? I didnt see anything different from that day to today, but its ok for an arsene wenger side to be outclassed and win luckily And why does it have to be an englishman to miss the penalty?
Benji Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 wanted and knew arsenal would win the penalties - against sheff utd they were perfect and was obvious to expect that today i don't like man utd for some reason nor do i like scholes. In his prime he was a key england player but i think he's lost it and well past it but somehow still rated by many. I would be lieing if i said i wanted him to score his...(Scholes... ) Theres just something about Arsenal i love to watch but i agree with the worthington cup point. I was at that game in a box cus of something to do with dads work but on the tv after was his interview moaning of us quote, ''playing for penalties''. Well they did that today but fair play have admitted they lacked the attacking opportunities so why not, defending is just as much football as attacking. One person i feel sorry for is ronaldo, not as he was crying, but as he is a brilliant player to watch and can set a game alive. His performance deserved a win but thats football. Come back next year
Knightonian Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 How great it is to see Man United not wining anything this year . I also thought that as soon as it went to penalties, Arsenal would win.

Anish Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 Ronaldo was superb, when he plays like that he is brilliant to watch. However, he needs to get a grip, crying like a girl!! It was hilarious watching him in tears (just like last year in the Euros!) again - you would have thought he'd have learnt his lesson by now. Arsenal didn't deserve to win, but football isn't about justice, so fair play to them. Unlucky Man Yoo.
filbertway Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 Arsnenal went into that game so negatively and it looked like they were playing for peno's from the kick off , its the first time i'm going to day this, man u should have won they absolutley battered them, arsenal had 1 shot on targer in 2 hours BORING BORING ARSENAL

Louise Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 I must say I did take joy from the result. Man U going all out to win a cup they dismissed as worthless a few years ago and still losing. I have no love for Arsenal either but I really wanted them to win today for that very reason.
filbertway Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 I started off wanting arsenal to win, but how arsenal were playing, and every time they showed wenger he was moaning at the officials or whoever he could, i soon wanted man yoo to win.
