25m takeover by Mandaric? Rubbish!

Read The Grauniad today.

February 2007, Mandaric committed to buy the club for:

600k plus 9 million to be invested.

Year ending 31st May 2009 losses of 14m

And accounts for 2008-2009 (Grauniad mistake?, should this be 2009-2010?) Mandaric loaned 6m plus 4m of new funding (most likely loans).

Nothing most didn't already know.

Except the Mercury and ITV Central News who were still spouting the £25 mill bullshit a couple of weeks a go.

I mentioned the 600k 3 weeks ago and most were still spouting anything between 6m and 25m.

As I said, don't believe a word from The Mercury

February 2007, Mandaric committed to buy the club for:

600k plus 9 million to be invested. = share capital

Add to this loans

£11 million have already been publically stated by Milan and that doesn't include any detail for last season

Assuming another £5m, and the £25m figure was finally reached last season

Problem with the press coverage in 2007 is that it sounded like upfront, just like the £10m banded around now

Mandaric paid peanuts to take control. I heard that he would only pay the shareholders their money if City got to the the Prem and if they stayed up, he would pay them the full amount.

He has just 'covered' the debts, hence why they still say that we don't own the stadium.

The club chairman said he would write off a significant chunk of the £21m he has put into the club over the past three-and-a-half years.

From his own mouth. That finally puts to bed all this shit about paying £25 million for the club.

£9 million compulsary leaves £12 million, of which he's writing off £5 million and keeping £7 million. Despite costing us £14 million the season we went down.

Great.
