Walshy5 Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 What do people think Micheal Morrisons best position is. Me personally id play him RB
MikeyT Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 You spelled his name wrong its Michael not Micheal As a Michael myself, just saying. Oh and i'd play him at centre back.

Oh and i'd play him at centre back. my sons middle names michael and not micheal. ita after his irish grandad, so its the gaelic way of spelling it. oh and centre back.

ousefox Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 I know he came to us at CB and that it is his preferred position but i honestly think he is a better player at RB. Very calm on the ball, gives him chance to get up the pitch more often, have a few shots(remember the effort vs Newcastle), and in my opinion definitely better than Neilson and Lamey at RB from what i have seen myself. Usually one of our only defensive threats from set pieces too.

bigneville Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Most certainly a CB. He doesn't have the technical skills to play at right back. He is an old-school type blocker and stopper.
Dylan Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 He should easily be in our side, whether at RB or CB. I think with our poor RB's (in my opinion) in Lamey and Neilson (although he has been quite good for the games he's played this season), he should be our first choice RB. He's also quite young, so one for the future, so should defo be preferred imo, cause he's better and younger.
The MayneFox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Most certainly a CB. He doesn't have the technical skills to play at right back. He is an old-school type blocker and stopper. Before he came to leicester he was RB.....anyway having 2 inexperienced young centre backs=trouble....but saying that id rather have him at CB than Moreno RB for me
Flynny Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 He had a great spell at RB last season, barely put a foot wrong, had the instincts to help out the CBs if needed but still got forward, faster than he seems too. Can't really say though as I've not seen a game all season (shocking) and so haven't seen Lamey or the apparently revitalised Neilson.
Corky Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Not sure really. I think he's better than Moreno so could be CB, but also an improvement on Neilson at RB. I'd play him at CB with Lamey on the right.
Mack Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Right back all day long. Much much better than anything else we have there. I wonder if Sousa has even taken a look at him at RB?
ousefox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Before he came to leicester he was RB.....anyway having 2 inexperienced young centre backs=trouble....but saying that id rather have him at CB than Moreno RB for me I'm almost certain he was a CB before he came here.
ajthefox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 He played well last season at CB so I don't see why that should change. Although Neilson is rubbish going forward, I never thought there was much of a need to change the back 4 of Berner, Hobbs, Morrison and Neilson to be honest. It seemed like they had formed a decent partnership. Now Sousa has tampered with it we clearly haven't been as strong

VampLCFC Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Supposedly a centre back by trade, but certainly looks better at right back
