Not every fascist may wish to gas the Jewish people or invade Poland but I would be hugely concerned by any individual who defended fascism by trying to claim there are significant, positive diferences between Hitler's regime and any other similar in history. 'Nazi' and 'fascist' aren't synonimous because us close minded hippy liberals are ignorant of the poor, hard-done-to neo-fascists but because Nazi Germany was the perfect example of the ideology.

Just to be pedantic Mazism and fascism are not the same thing nor was Nazi Germany perfected fascism. Not all fascists are Nazi's, but it would be all but required to support fascist ideology in order to be a true Nazi. Fascists are not necessarily racist, which is contrary to the anti-semetic doctrines which are at the core of Nazi ideology. The central theme of Fascism is the state. The state is supreme and everything revolves around the state. The central theme of Nazism is the race. The race is the "master race" and all other races must either serve the "master race" as slaves or must be eliminated from existence. The state under Nazism serves the sole purpose of the advancement of the "master race." Nationalism is one aspect of Fascism. However, nationalism is often used to stress the superiority of the national culture as opposed to other minority cultures. Fascism accepts other groups, provided that the minority groups reject their culture, language, and religion for the superior nationalism. For example, the fascist Christian Socialists advocate the conversion of Jews to Christianity, not the extermination of the Jewish race, as the Nazi German Nationalists would have it. Fascism wants to exterminate the culture, not the people.

Jimothy Posted 21 October 2012 Posted 21 October 2012 Remembered this thread from a couple of years ago, and I nominated Darren Fletcher for his constant moaning at literally everything. Well I'm going to add Craig Gardner. Watching him in the derby today just confirmed what I'd thought from the start of the season. His face is constantly screwed up in an angry moany the whole worlds against me kind of way. Every time the camera was on him today he was having a moan, no matter what the situation. Earlier this season I saw highlights of Sunderland's against Swansea, and Gardner was fouled by Neil Taylor, in which Taylor got injured so badly he'll miss the rest of the season. It wasn't a terrible foul, just a bit of a silly challenge, Gardner got up, looked round at Taylor rolling on the floor in agony and proceeded to run to the ref calling for a card. Seriously the guys a cretin.
