Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I personally believe that Morrison is a decent RB, he maybe lacks the attacking ability that Nielson has but he's certainly shown Potential at RB, and Neilsin can't actually defend
Bugg Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 People hate Neilson still after his start this season?
hackneyfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 After gifting 8 goals I can't imagine playing in any position but 'left back' for some time.
Kitchandro Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 He is a lot better at right back, and is better than Neilson (who despite his improvement in form is still not really good enough most of the time)
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 After gifting 8 goals I can't imagine playing in any position but 'left back' for some time. Play him at LB......you mean replace Berner, Berner is our best player. BB hasn't had the greatest 8 games ever but he's still qualit. Don't like offending any one but that's just a stupid suggestion.

I think the 'left back' refers to the old pun left back in the changing room. Do you feel silly now for your little outburst?

Jimothy Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 ? Hmmmm sort of works, but thats more of a d'oh than a woosh.
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 I can only laugh at myself, I honestly didn't notice the '' around the words left back. Don't I feel silly.
stifler Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I personally believe that Morrison is a decent RB, he maybe lacks the attacking ability that Nielson has but he's certainly shown Potential at RB, and Neilsin can't actually defend if morrison can do anything at rightback, it is certainly get forward. he has pace and stamina, brillaint rightback but at centreback just doesnt cut it
hackneyfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Don't worry about it. But he seriously shouldn't play for some time, but personally, never again. Shame we don't have a reserve team, he needs a proper chance o rebuild his career.
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 He defo shouldn't be dropped completely, his confidence is shot to pieces, and does he have paice?? I've never seen it. Oh he's great in the air too.

Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 It's just my opinion, you're entitled to yours as am I.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 He's having a 'mare. Always said he's a better RB than he is CB. But Neilson's improved a hell of alot.
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 I'm not having a mare, I just see no point in going round in circles, I started this discussion to see other City fans opinions on Morrisons and where he should or shouldn't play.

Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Author Posted 26 September 2010 Oh and yeah Nielsons improved this season but he's still shit. His best game came against Macilsfield (League 2 opposition) he found his level that game
hackneyfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 It's just my opinion, you're entitled to yours as am I. I wasn't having a go, but it didn't make sense. And on top of that he isn't good in the air. And I want a right back with pace. Cenrre halfs need to be good in the air.

I wasn't clear enough when I said he's good in the air I meant he is good in the opposition penalty area, he scored two headers last season more then Hobbs or Brown
hackneyfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Agreed with that, he scores more goals than our defenders but he has gifted 5-8 goals this season. N'Guesssan and Morrisso to swap places?
unreachable Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 If Morrison plays as RB that begs the question as to who plays at CB. Morrison + Hobbs is the best option amongst the fit and available personnel.
