So, Are the Sousa Out Brigade Happy Now?

Im not a Leicester fan. But as a neutral you Leicester fans bemuse me.

Listen to this analogy about Sousa.

Milan brings in Sousa the chef (manager) and he wants an omelette (good football).

He then plonks down a bowl of gruel (the current Leicester playing squad) and shouts 'MAKE ME AN OMELETTE'.

But there's no eggs. And there's no money for eggs. So how they hell can you make an omelette out of gruel?

9 weeks later, the gruel is taking the shape of an omelette but it's not quite there.

So Milan sacks the chef.

It's clearly not the chef's fault, he didn't have any eggs.

You had the chance to progress as a football club. You had the chance to embrace the beautiful game. But your provincial knees jerked after 9 measly games. And now you will get in another hoofball merchant, another Pearson, and you will go back to being a bog standard championship team, lumping the ball to a fat bloke upfront.

For shame. You had it in the palm of your hands, and you've thrown it away.

Fock it, if only we had known about our lack of eggs .

Yes please- Promotion from League 1 - Just pipped in the play off for the Premiership the very next season, If the next 'Pearson' can give us something similar I'll be happy.

Oh one question, what team do you support - just curious?

I support Blues. Birmingham City.

But that's neither here nor there. Im a massive fan of Sousa and would have him at Blues tomorrow. I'm just dismayed at the people dancing on his grave.

OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!

That's the sound of a troll being fed.

How's it trollish to suggest that Sousa's been unfairly sacked and the fans are being moronic for celebrating.

How is that trolling?

You played fantastic football. Sousa was given 9 games. You didn't even let him stay until January to bring his own players in. And would he have even got any money to do that anyway?

That's not trolling. That's pointing out truisms. Sousa's been treated shambolically.

Nonsense. Sousa brought in Ikeme, Vitor, Moreno, Lamey, Waghorn and Abe. Now, 1 of those is a 'keeper and 3 are defenders, yet our defense is 1,000 times worse this season than it was last season; we've conceded 17 goals on the road already when we only conceded 27 away all last season. Solid signings, aren't they?

Looking at it another way, we've conceded 12 times in our last 3 league games; brilliant stuff, wouldn't you agree? Actually, you probably would.

We had to pay money for Abe and we're rumoured to have signed Waghorn for £3million - where abouts does that suggest he has had no money to sign anybody?

Yes we might have been playing pretty approach play, but it lacked a real cutting edge and our "shots on goal" stats are beefed up by speculative 20+ yard efforts because we can't do anything in the final third of the field. Fantastic indeed.

And then we look at the simple fact that we're rooted to the bottom of the table with 5 points out of a possible 27 and an embarrassingly poor goal difference, yet Sousa was "proud" of this and saw more positives than negatives?! The guy was living on cloud fucking cuckoo land.

It may well work out for him somewhere else, but it's clear he was making no progress whatsoever towards the right formula here and him moving on with a nice compensation package whilst being portrayed as a victim of an unjust knee-jerk sacking will do him no harm whatsoever in seeking another job. Best of luck to him elsewhere, but here, he had no hope.

Anyway, no doubt you'll find fault with the bare facts of Sousa's reign seeing as you're only here on a wind-up but that's going to be somebody else's problem, I'm done here.

Oh and here's me thinking your a supporter of a top 6 Euro placed club from the way you're "sprouting off " not a club in 13th on 7 points, Yep I know we’re in the championship but as you've said that's neither here or there.

Don't post again please...

Glad today's events have made a lot of people happy, probably the same people that don't go to games or have a single idea how football should be played or what the consequences of such actions today will hit the club in the long term.

Has anyone actually thought how much this latest shambolic decision has cost our club ????????? Millions I would say...

To pay off Sousa's contract, to buy out another one maybe ? also to pay massive amounts of wages on a new manager if it is to be Sven................CRAZY..............

I can see that our results have been crap, I aint stupid, but Sousa probably had 2 weeks pre season, he then had to take over a team which yeah, I was proud of but if we all think about it over achieved last season, then had to try and re-install new ideas to a certain calibre of player to play a new way, Pompey apart I could see progress even if the results didn't show it, I have been watching City since David pleat's team and I can honestly say I did enjoy the football that we were starting to play.

I personally think he should have had more time, that's my opnion, like most of you have had yours, I don't have to agree with you anymore than you have to agree with me. I just hope that the several Millions that this latest stunt has cost the club don't come back to bite us on the Arse in the future.

What we can do though is support the new man whoever it maybe with 100% backing, its obvious that whoever it is there will be split feelings but if he gets the same backing as Sousa did who was quite clearly pissing against the wind following Pearson after his great job and leaving in those cloudy circumstances then we might be in this same posistion in another 9 games time as the BAR has been set now.

TIME TO STAND UP AND BE COUNTED NOW YOU HAVE HAD YOUR WAY...............................SING YA FECKING HEARTS OUT..................

Oh, by the way this is not Ashley, lol, it's his Dad, he was logged on........Ooooops

We're joint 7th with Villa and Everton.

Im not 'sprouting off' either. Im a promoter of good footballer and I support all the small teams of the Midlands. I look fot for Walsall, Leicester, Coventry's results. I want you all up in the prem with us.

You didn't have a good side though. Come on, be mature. You were hoofball and Matty Fryatt fed off any loose balls.

Course those bully boy tactics will work for a season, but then you become found out.

This side, this season, is better than last year's team.

Could last year's Leicester outclass QPR and Cardiff? Nope. Could last year's Leicester go away to Portsmouth in the cup with 11 men and win? Nope.

This year's Leicester are a great side who have struggled from disgusting ref decisions.

Of course we're top 7. We were in the top 6 all of last season, except the last couple of weeks. And we haven't lost at home for over a year.

I mean you may not like us, but at least be objective on these things.

i wouldn't be surprised if gary rowett was actually paulo sousa on his laptop sitting in the marriott bar

I look like a young Sousa actually. Got the neck-scarf and the coat too. Very swish.
