So, Are the Sousa Out Brigade Happy Now?

I can't help but feel sorry for him. Just 2 weeks of pre season and inheriting a squad who's heart was still with their former manager he faced an uphill struggle to win their hearts and change theirmentality and style.

Yet he made some absolutely shocking team selections. He and only he can take the blame for that.

Very happy. Obviously want The Messiah back but would be happy with Sven.

I am indeed happy. All of the names linked could and will do a far better job, All the evidence now points to Sousa lacking the skills to be a succesful manager. QPR sacked him on a technicality. Swansea nearly bit our arm off, and he has upset just about everyone at City. Good riddance.

I am personally delighted Sousa has gone, his preparation was poor, the teams fitness were below standard, our defending is disasterous, there's a lack of discipline, his selections were all awful, in 9 league games he has destroyed a battle hardened team that had a winning mentality and were two kicks away from Wembley into relegation certainties! Good riddance! The replacement was lined up before Sousa got the chop! If it is Sven or O'Neill we need to be prepared for a long battle of a season! Goal no.1 50 points! Staying up!

Well summed up! Our current owners are hardly going to be trawling the lower English leagues for a new manager (despite there being quality down there) Sven appeals to them because of the name and let's face it the guy is no fool. He may well see this as a springboard to a more glamorous appointment or may do so well with us that he stays around for sometime to come ....England 5 Germany 1...

Maybe it's the thirty seven almost identical threads in the space of a morning?

If they were almost identical, Mods would have merged them.

So, I hope everyone will be happy, now that Sousa has been stabbed in the back.

I just wonder how long it will take for the disloyal fans of Leicester, to bay for the blood of the next victim?

This has literally made my day.

The sacking of Sousa was the right decision and to be linked with two names like Sven & MON is bloody fantastic.

I will be more than happy if either of these are appointed.

Sven is a proven manager at every level. He has tactically knowledge and experience of the English game.

MON is a GOD.

So if either of the two above are appointed, it's a fantastic step for the club.

Im pretty excited. :)

I've wanted a manager at LCFC for a long time who's had alot of experience. I know he hasn't got much staying power, but didn't Man City fans feel outraged when his contract got terminated?

I'm looking forward to him coming, If he comes. Then again, I'll welcome and judge the next LCFC manager on their results and the teams performance.

Yes I am happy that he's gone ....

Im not a Leicester fan. But as a neutral you Leicester fans bemuse me.

Listen to this analogy about Sousa.

Milan brings in Sousa the chef (manager) and he wants an omelette (good football).

He then plonks down a bowl of gruel (the current Leicester playing squad) and shouts 'MAKE ME AN OMELETTE'.

But there's no eggs. And there's no money for eggs. So how they hell can you make an omelette out of gruel?

9 weeks later, the gruel is taking the shape of an omelette but it's not quite there.

So Milan sacks the chef.

It's clearly not the chef's fault, he didn't have any eggs.

You had the chance to progress as a football club. You had the chance to embrace the beautiful game. But your provincial knees jerked after 9 measly games. And now you will get in another hoofball merchant, another Pearson, and you will go back to being a bog standard championship team, lumping the ball to a fat bloke upfront.

For shame. You had it in the palm of your hands, and you've thrown it away.

Happy he's gone?

Yes.

Happy with the crap that the club and Mandaric have been coming out with in the media over the last 3 days - and how it was handled overall?

No.
