The_Foxes_Legend Posted 30 May 2005 Posted 30 May 2005 in fact I say start him in most of friendlies ans see how he fares
Sparky Posted 30 May 2005 Posted 30 May 2005 talking of tommy i seen him in town today wearing a wooly hat !
Jonbluefox9 Posted 30 May 2005 Posted 30 May 2005 Tommy is definitely not going to hull. And he didnt even speak to coventry although they did want him. He is currently deciding between sheff wed, sheff utd, doncaster or staying. 117481 If those are his options, I think he should go to Rovers. If he goes to either Sheffield side or stays with us I think his first team chance will be limited and by the looks of the Doncaster website they're really looking for promotion to the Championship next season. And judging by this article they'll soon be revealing some new signings. One of them could be Tommy Wright? Source Good luck to him whatever he does.

Muz Posted 30 May 2005 Posted 30 May 2005 Dave Penney is a great manager. I went too the game against Forest in the cup this year. Ive been to a few games. They are getting a new stadium and Rovers are deffo going places. There also saying that in 4/5 years time when Rovers are in Europe they can fly from the new Robin Hood airport just outside Doncaster. They are very ambitious but you have got to admire them. Living only 20-25 mins away from them im going to try to go to some more games home and away with my mates. Thats of course when im not attending Leicester games
Steven Posted 8 June 2005 Author Posted 8 June 2005 It looks like MA has come calling again according to this rumour. Certainly the monger knows likely MA targets. Coventry have made offers to Crossley, Mcateer and Whitley and have been given permision to talk to Matt Heath and Tommy Wright of Leicester.
supedaj Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 I hope we hang onto him - he needs a chance. He can do it at this level. Maybe challenging MDV for a place. We need a local hungry local lad and he has been unlucky with his lack of chances over the past year or so.

supedaj Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 yep unfortunately he doesnt. He's been saying that he always likes to see 6-7 hungry younger players pushing the first team. Pushing Wright out wont help his philosophy I think

Leicesterboi Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 How much would we get for him? if we get 100k then id snap their hands off.
Louise Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 I'd imagine we'd let him go for free, Heath we might ask a fee for of course.
Scow Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 Heath may have a loyalty clause in his contract, so we could actually lose money over any potential transfer as he's not requested to leave the club.
Cobbo Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 I'd imagine we'd let him go for free, Heath we might ask a fee for of course. 120809 Any other manager would laugh at that, but as it's Micky and Heath is our future captian....I can see us getting a few million B)
Ric Flair Posted 9 June 2005 Posted 9 June 2005 I'd be sad to see Wright go, but at the end of the day he isn't even scoring for the reserves anymore. Infact he scored 1 goal in 6 months for them, which has been the length of time Levein has been at the club. If you arrived as manager and one of your young prospects produced that, you'd ship them straight out.
