Cobbo Posted 26 May 2005 Posted 26 May 2005 5k mate,Football isn't everything!!! 115706 Neither is money. Would you folks taking the £5k really want to inflict so much pain on thousands of others just for your own little bit of greed? I am actually shocked and appauled.

Would you folks taking the £5k really want to inflict so much pain on thousands of others just for your own little bit of greed? I am actually shocked and appauled. 115982 Greed??? It's hardly being greedy when you have a choice of two options. In my opinion there is a lot more to life than football and £5k can get you a fair way these days. A car, a nice holiday, some security/savings, or however else you want to spend £5k on your family/friends. Football is not the be all and end all of life. And I seriously doubt relegation would inflict "so much pain on thousands of others" - life goes on whether Leicester get relegated or not. I seriously doubt fans go into clinical depression or lose the ability to sleep at night just because their team gets relegated. If thousands of people feel "so much pain" over relegation, they really need to get some perspective. Besides, nobody here suggested that £5k would buy happiness. Just because I chose the £5k I did not say that I would be happy because of it.

There really is a lot more to life than football, although its hard to realise that until you get out of the region of the team you support, and whether Leicester went down or not they would still be there, I would still support them and although it would be sad, I'll still get to see my favourite team play at least 23 times in a season.
