Guest Bilo Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Sven's first home game as Leicester boss and Pearson's return as Hull boss, this is a game as much about the men on the sidelines as those on the pitch. Can it be a winning start and an unhappy return? Well, the win over Scunny was a welcome improvement and we were impressive last week, albeit in a meaningless friendly against the Thais. Hull have struggled on the road of late and, ridiculously, discontent in Hull is apparently growing. The defensive improvements have made our defence look incredibly solid and our midfield has some talented individuals in its ranks. On the other hand, no opposition manager will know this team better than Pearson. He will be wanting a win tomorrow to show MM and Hoos what they're missing and is up against the team he essentially built. He'll know the formation, the players and possibly the style. John Bostock and Robert Koren are good signings and can cause any team problems, and with the defence having leaked goals all season, Sven will have had to work hard to get us to keep a clean sheet tomorrow. I predict however that the 'patented new manager bounce' effect will hit home and we'll get a second consecutive victory, 2-1 to City with goals from King and Howard being the killers.
StanSP Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 4-1 to us. Resounding victory for Sven and an equally resounding return for totally different reasons for Pearson. Kingy with 2, Fryatt and Waghorn with the goals. Let the good times roll!

Guest Mee-9 Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Who put lose? tart I put lose, cause whenever I put lose we win
StanSP Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Is he still not suspended? Ah I see. If he is then change it to Gallagher
Guest BlueBrett Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 I think we'll win. It's a massive game! Really looking forward to it. 3-1 Davies (if he plays if not Hobbs FROM A CORNER!), Waghorn and Howard.
accessory Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 0-0 This. With two defensive-minded managers, both desperate not to lose, a sterile anti-climax beckons..
Lord Fox Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 This. With two defensive-minded managers, both desperate not to lose, a sterile anti-climax beckons.. It pains me to say it - but I agree, (I hope for 3-0 Leicester)
fatmando Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 1-0 Leicester. Gallagher. Can't freaking wait!
darko2k7 Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Going for a day to remember with a 3-0 welcoming party for Sven
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Waggy is been in good form recently and it would have been nice had say DJ been still around, and he's have scored - that would be have been a right in Nigel's face. But yes, I think we will win but I think Martyn is going to nick a goal for us!
Zingari Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 optimistic of an improvement on our last league game
