Tbh there were few faults in anyone's performance. Gallagher looked off the pace throughout but it wasn't too much of an issue, and whoever was underneath Becchio when he scored (was hard to see from the shocking vantage point in the south-east corner) should have done much better.

Naughton possible MOTM, though Davies, King and Bruno all deserve special mention.

I think they actually said it was Davies on the radio that should have done better with their goal, or Naughton. Basically it was one of the new chaps.

Oh and the absolutely cretinous stewards get no praise whatsoever for their performance on the night - I've been to a fair few football matches and never seen such childish, unnecessary and downright wanky behaviour from security. Bunch of fooking tossers each and every one of 'em <_<

As for player ratings, I only listened on the Player so obviously couldnt day. Sounds like Waggy, Davies, King and Wellens played their hearts out though. It feels like Davies has been here for months.

Weale 6 - Little to do, could've done better with the goal.

Naughton 7 - Exactly what we've been missing, and he's not 100% fit, big deflection for the goal, but who cares.

Berner 7 - Perhaps his best game this season, solid, but did look shaky when Gradel came on.

Hobbs 7 - Standard.

Davies 8 - Different gravy, class above.

Gallagher 5 - Very poor, nothing came off for him tonight.

Moussa 7.5 - The ball stuck to him, worked hard, very direct and tricky.

Wellens 7 - Picked up the pieces and played the ball about nicely.

Oakley 7.5 - Best performance in a very long time from Oakley.

King 8 - A magician, tireless performance. Worked the flanks, sheer brilliance to set up Big Steve for the winner.

Waghorn 6.5 - Worked hard with little product. Did completely embarrass their left back towards the end mind.

Abe 6 - Looked the most comfortable he has done since his move.

Howard 6.5 - Scored the winner and added some much needed physical presence.

King 8.5 Had a great game, took the ball down beautifully before laying it off perfectly to howard for the second.

Moussa 8 Impressive, pacey and skillful. Managed to hold his own well for a slight player.

Waggy 6.5 Not at his best but its tricky when he's up there on his own.

Howard 7 Held the ball up well and a good finish

Abe 7 looked good in possession and some nice passes

Chucking people out randomly for NO reason other than standing when everyone around them was. They threatened to eject a guy 5 minutes from the end because he wouldn't hand over his little plastic Leicester horn.

They marshalled a very well-behaved and not particularly big away end like it was a maximum-security prison and looked like they were enjoying every second of it...

I'm 99% sure they recruit only those who failed the police and traffic warden criteria.

Hmm well if my unfortunate visits to Leeds are anything to go by this doesnt surprise me one bit. I met a lot of lovely people in Leeds, but I sure as hell noticed a larger proportion of human filth at the same time. And my god the crime.

weale -7 did nothing wrong but then had nothing to do bar from the goal wich the header was a good header

naughton-8 played really well got a little lucky with the deflected goal but deserved it for his performance

davies-7 looks comftable at this level

hobbs-7 nothing to say evryone knows what he can do

Weale - 7 - Looked comfortable. Glad to see him back.

Naughton - 7.5 - Got forward well, and dealt with his man all night long.

Davies - 8 - Premiership class. Wasn't seriously challenged by anything.

Hobbs - 7.5 - Looks so much more comfortable with a quality defender next to him.

Berner - 7 - Not quite the Berner of last season, but improving as he get's fitter.

Gallacher - 5 - Poor night, nothing came off for him, and he often looked a yard of the pace.

Oakley - 7.5 - Captains performance, got stuck in, kept it simple, and kept the lads going by his continued effort.

Wellens - 8 - The class of the midfield. Tired as he went on, definetly needs some fitness work, but kept the ball very well.

Moussa - 7.5 - Constant threat when he got the ball, added some missing energy to the midfield. Did himself no harm with that performance.

King - 8.5 - Just kept going, covered the most ground and kept making great lead runs. Quality in position and always offered an option.

Waghorn - 7 - Worked hard, fed of scraps for a while, but when he got the ball, he held it up well, and caused the Leeds defence problems.

Subs

Howard - 6.5 - Didn't get involved apart from score, but his presence caused some unwanted problems for the Leeds defence.

Abe - 6.5 - Got quality, you can see it, just off the pace a little. Will be a good player for us when he get

Looked a little shaky early on with crosses, but in truth wasn't really tested to any great extent.

Naughton - 8

Very accomplished. Defended well, apart from being beaten near the end, but his pace and drive down the right was integral to our attacking threat.

Hobbs - 7

Seemed to struggle against their forwards. A few loose passes, but was solid for the most part.

Davies - 8

Along with Naughton, clearly too good for this division. Very confident carrier of the ball and was comfortable throughout. However, I think he lost out in the air to Becchio for the goal?

Berner - 8

The Bruno of last season, though he did seem to fade a bit in the second. Unlucky not to score.

Gallagher - 5

Gave the ball away far too often.

Oakley - 7

Good coverage in midfield and worked well with Wellens.

Wellens - 7

Helped keep things ticking over. A bit weak in the tackle at times, however.

King - 9*

Provided much of the attacking threat with his clever runs from midfield. Also wasn't afraid to take players on, which is something I've not really seen before. Excellent work for Howard's goal.

Moussa - 8

Really impressed with this guy. Neat and tidy on the ball, combined with plenty of energy, pace and skill.

Waghorn - 7

Worked tirelessly and caused problems, but his ball retention was poor at times. Tried to do too much on occasions.

Subs:

Played out of position, but retained the ball well and helped out defensively.

Howard - 7

Took his goal well, though didn't see much of the ball.

Weale 7 - Nothing to do but was good when called upon.

Naughton 9 - Something we have missed in previous years. Makes fantastic runs, good going forward, good defensive cover, and dealt with his man all game. Davies 9 - Awesome. Created lots of chances with his runs. Dominant in the air.

Hobbs 8.5 - Solid as usual.

Berner 8 - Another solid performance from Bruno. Ran the line well, didn't have much cover for the Leeds goal but unlucky not to score himself.

Gallagher 5 - Another poor game.

Oakley 7.5 - Fantastic performance. Got stuck in well, some nice passes and a good touch at times.

Wellens 8.5 - Controls the midfield. A class act. Some nice touches, passing and defensive cover when needed.

Moussa 7.5 - Don't understand why Sousa didn't play him. Tricky player, all over the place. Excellent.

King 8.5 - Great runs throughout the game, good composure and a great ball for the second goal. Should have scored early on though.

Waghorn 7.5 - Caused problems with his pace and running in channels at times.

Naughton 8 another brilliant performance and a great run to score his goal.

Davies 8 again commanded the defence.

Hobbs 7 played well alongside davies.

Berner 7 got forward well and looked good playing with moussa down the left.

Gallagher 5/6 not a good performance for me and missed a sitter.

Wellens 7 didn't stop running and controlled the midfield.

Oakley 7 battled really well.

Moussa 9 i thought he was our best player last night took on players with ease at times and was unlucky not to score.

King 8 didn't do a lot in the first half but in the second he ran up and down non-stop and set up the 2nd goal.

Waghorn 7 he did miss a really good chance but apart from that he didn't stop running and battled really well.

Abe 6 he played better off the bench than in other games.

Howard 7 came on and won us the game and caused problems for the leeds defence.

Having watched the goals a few times I think your being really harsh when saying Weale could have done better. Good header right in the bottom corner IMO.
