What are everyones thought on this?? I assume there MUST have been a topic started about this but I couldn't find one.

I just can't stop laughing at Andy Grey!! He was just doing some inappropriate touching!!

I thought they were re-introducing FNF for a minute there!

Used to love that as a nipper at Filbert Street watching the ressies.

I actually have no idea what that is!!

Pretty sure they stopped doing it regularly in about the late 90s.

Basically, kids could get in for a quid or two to watch the reserves play at Filbert Street. You knew it was a big game when they had to open the Double Decker as they did against Man United reserves once.

I'll never forget our lot stuffing Oldham 8-1. lol

Great introduction to football for kids!

My dad would never take me to a proper match until he knew i'd sit and enjoy the games so FNF was brilliant, better than taking kids to the first team matches and wanna get up for the toilet every 5 minutes or sit there with thers DS' or whatever.

Might be the same thing you are thinking about but don't think it was ever on Fridays.

FNF standed for Family Night Football.

It's a brilliant way to get kids into football, must have been better for the players as well to play in front of a crowd of 4-5k at Filbo than one man and his dog at Belvoir Drive. It helped get me into footie anyway. Bring it back I say.

Or behind closed doors every now and again, if they're lucky

Was it? Thought it was only occasional by the time we moved to the Walkers, though to be fair I was 18/19 by that time and a bit old for the FNF thing really.

Spider Kalac, Jamie Lawrence, Julian Joachim, and alot of other first teamers back in the day, always seem to remember them playing quite often when I went.

Doubtful whether it should have been a penalty, but then the Baggies have been punished twice with the sending off. It was hardly a clear goalscoring opportunity. I think there is far too much expectation on referees to make decisions based on their judgements about the gameplay - was it a goalscoring opportunity; was the player interfering with play; should advantage be played, etc.
