Simmo86 Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I'm with you darling. I will always remember him scoring against Villa in the League Cup though (which set up the away tie at Stamford Bridge). Nearly fell from the upper tier while celebrating with Daggers. That was one of his (i think) two goals that season. The mesh over the first few rows of seats nearly caused serious problems for me that game! Thankfully a steward saved my bacon!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Hull City want to follow up moves for Matty Fryatt and Aaron McLean with a £2m bid for Everton striker James Vaughan.Source: BBC Transfer Gossip.
SeattleShane Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Always liked Fryatt, not too sure if he liked playing for us though, comes across as a spoiled child.
CupidStunt Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 what sort of money are we expected to be getting from the sale of matty?
stivesfox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I believe its a million of which 200k has to go to Walsall as there was 20 per cent sell on clause. Fryatt always wanted out when Pearson went, Pearson got the best out of him and when the chips are down Fryatt isnt one to roll his sleeves up and fight, I have posted a lot on my annoyance of Fryatt he is lazy, he is a player that when things are good gets the goals, when backs to the wall he is first to hide. He needed a change and I think we need change too, lets hope his replacement is Bednar.
Ozwin Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I'll be gutted if he leaves but it's probably time.

Kent Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 I've heard pretty reliably that the fee is 2 million and since the deals been done he's not been turning up for training which Leicester aren't too happy about. (Either of those points could have already been posted, sorry if they have).

MikeyT Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 from SSN: Nigel Pearson doubts Hull City's move for Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt will be rushed through, but believes the club are 'nearly there' regarding a deal for Aaron Mclean. The Tigers are determined to improve their striking options in the January transfer window and have lined up deals for Fryatt and Mclean. It is understood that fees have been agreed for both players and a move for Fryatt would reunite the forward with Pearson following their time together at Leicester. However, Hull and Leicester meet at the KC Stadium on New Year's Day and Pearson does not anticipate having Fryatt in his plans for the game. Mclean, though, could be involved in Saturday's Championship fixture as he closes on his departure from Peterborough. Patient "I wouldn't imagine Leicester would allow him to play and knowing how long it takes to get anything done from their perspective, it probably won't happen anyway even if they did allow us," said Pearson in the Hull Daily Mail. "We just have to be patient on that one and see how it goes. "We're nearly there on both of them but until we get the clearance that they can go ahead, that's all it is."
