Finnegan Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Earnie's looked sharp this year too, despite not quite getting as many goals as normal he generally looks really up for it. I can see him getting on the end of a Gunter cross after Ramsey's picked out his mate with 30 yrd peach of a ball. I hate you.
Bettsj2 Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 When the fook did Forest get Ramsey? For god sake. Really wouldnt worry about this. First games back after a broken leg he'll be shitting it whenever Wellens or Abe go near him.
Tommy G Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Don't think he will start, he will come off the bench. like people have said. he will poo poo himself and pull out of challenges, it will be a Derby after all, can't see him having much of an effect. A great signing for forest nonetheless, he will hit form mid december and they'll have to send him back to Arsenal on jan 3rd. Unlucky
Finnegan Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Pretty much. Even if he doesn't lack bravery he will still be lacking in fitness and sharpness.
FoxyPV Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 If the physicality of the PL is too much then how's he going to cope in the Championship?
cunningplan Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 A freind tells me that the rumour on the Brighton board was that Fryatt was going to be their 'special' signing. Why would he go there???
hackneyfox Posted 26 November 2010 Author Posted 26 November 2010 Money was the problem. In what way?
Houdini Logic Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 If the physicality of the PL is too much then how's he going to cope in the Championship? I think it was more the leg crunching tackles that were the problem, not the general physicality of the league. He can hold his own
RedHux Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Don't laugh. We've only got one left back and we sent him out on loan! What we're going to do when Bertrand buggers of back to Chelsea is anybody's guess.
Jimmy Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 doesn't the lad you sent to Palace come back at the same time Bertrand fecks off?
RedHux Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 Yep....but I'd rather keep Bertrand, especially as Bennet's been injured since we got promoted back to the Championship.
bjblyth Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 According to Ian Stringer this morning, Hull have already got their bid in for Matty Fryatt... It looks like Hull have already got their bid for Matty Fryatt in. Whether it'll be accepted or not is unclear.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Mercury says that Hull now have money to spend and Pearson is interested in signing two strikers, one of whom is Fryatt. Also reckons that the Thais might let him go for a lower price than has been talked about previously edit: forgotten how to speak properly - snow has entered my brain
Jon the Hat Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Fryatt is clearly not in Sven's plans, so he might as well elt him go. He delivered the goals for us under Pearson when we needed to bounce back, so he deserves to be allowed to move on and play.
SMX11 Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Doesn't seem that interested when he comes on, certainly missing his long lost dad (NP) so get rid. I would still want 1.5 mil for him though, I don't think we can afford to let people leave for peanuts.

You have to balance that with what it costs to keep him warming the bench, with 18months left on his contract at a conservative £5k/week is £350k. The longer we keep him especially as a 'non player' the lower his value becomes and an money we can get for him can be reinvested in someone who might actually get a game.
phillthefox Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 with the reported money sven has available and poss attracting a top class striker i think we cash in on him and get rid as plenty better out there........

Guest ttfn Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 He wasn't the only one who didn't look interested on Saturday. Thought he actually looked more interested than most to be honest. Doesn't excuse the incompetence of the passes but he tried to get on the ball, which is more than can be said for plenty of those who started the game.
ajthefox Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Well that's that then I'm guessing, I'd be amazed if he didn't leave now. Good job Hull s on the 1st too, a week later and you can be certain he'd bag the winner.
WardyisPukka Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 I think we should let him go !! he's had his best seasons with us!! good player , served lcfc well!! time to move on Although i am worried about selling him to a rival club in Hull
