The Zimbabwean has a permit to work in Britain as a cardiac nurse in High Wycombe but her case is being reviewed after she quit the job to appear on the show. The Sun reported that the 24-year-old, up for eviction this week along with all 11 of her housemates, could even be deported. A source confirmed that her case was being looked into but would not comment on whether she would be thrown out of the country. "Routine procedures are being followed in relation to this case," the source said. A Home Office spokeswoman said: "We do not comment on individual cases." She added: "Where an employer informs that an overseas national has left their work permit employment their leave to remain is considered as appropriate." A Big Brother spokeswoman said Makosi's documents had been checked and added: "We are happy that she is a legal UK resident."
