Bryn Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I appreciate that Sven doesn't rate either player, wants to progress from their calibre, and I agree with him, but the at the end of the day you can only use what you have, and for our top scorer and our £3m acquisition to not even get a look in when we're firing blanks is pretty hard to swallow.
Guest Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Why start him today? Moussa would be a better option imo. Oakley's not scored a goal in around 2 years, and is no threat really. Perhaps that says something about Moussa. If Abe didn't need the rest doubt Oakley would have been in.

With the new investment and January transfer window, Sven can really do what he wants. We have a decent transfer fund i am guessing, so i have full trust in Sven bringing some players in. He will know who he wants now, so he will tempt them to come. It will be interesting to see the squad at the end of next month.
