Into the Lion's Den - Match Thread

Leicester will need to think more about potential relegation than promotion if things carry on like this.

We might be linked to every footballer who ever signed a contract but we're deficient in so many basic areas and aspects of the game you have to wonder what we ever do on the training ground.

Why does Sven need to take 45 minutes or more before removing Bednar? The bloke is an embarrassment. Poor touch, wins nothing in the air and a non-stop excuse maker. All he does is disrupt play. Get him off and send him home. He's never belonged here anyway.

The remark on the radio said it all. We've got the squad to make changes and introduce supposedly fresh legs but were second best in every department. That isn't about ability it's about attitude and that's about the manager.

Millwall, with a team of guys often young and plucked from obscurity, pressed forward as a unit and presurred everything we did. How could such an approach catch us by surprise? It couldn't. We just failed to meet the challenge.

Lack of cover, loss of the man to be marked, failing to take responsibility, too many touches, more of the usual poor corners and free-kicks... it was such a familiar tale as with Gallagher missing a perfect chance to give us the lead cos he failed to balance himself and hit the ball on target.

We just never learn and we have stopped dictating the pace and style of play. We're in a sort of tactical limboland where we don't know whether to attack or stiffle the game. In other words we've lost our way. To many players too many loanees, too many options and too many people who don't really give a toss so long as they collect their wages.

If you've individual weaknesses these can be put right but a crisis of confidence and self-belief and you're in big trouble.

I said we'd be lucky to get three points from the next 12 before Leeds and nothing's happening to change my mind. Sven's got a real test. This isn't about personnel, it's about character. And Sven needs to know exactly what he wants if he's to arrest our slump and I'm just not convinced he does.

In fact he's in the same situation as Holloway. Too many players are either visiting on loan or waiting to be shipped out in the window. They won't give a toss. And so it was when we got relegated.

And if we're realistically out of the promotion hunt it will be harder to bring the right new players in. Rent-a-crowd is always risky, especially for the spirit of the dressing room, but we don't seem to have learned anything from the first time.

Why does Sven rate Steve Howard so much higher than Waghorn?

What's the score guys? There was a goal celebration message earlier but sky sports says 0 0?!!!

2-0 to millwall but they've just gone down to 10 men

Im not panicking yet.

Last 3 games. 5-1 Doncaster (Donny aint a bad side either)

Ipswich 3-0 (The conditions didnt suit our style of play)

Leeds 2-2 (Pretty even game, not convincing)

Dont panic.

Not sure might be because he has more experience, he is a bigger target man and is more economical with the ball because waghorn shots basically every time he gets the ball

Here comes Howard. Does Sven hate Waghorn?

Shouldn't have signed Waghorn. I rate Howard over Waghorn. I'd of rather had signed James Vaughan.

Same reason most of the fans do, delusion.

Or maybe it's because he puts some effort in and can actually head a ball. Waggers and vassell aren't going to break down a 10 man defence sitting in front of their goal.
