Bettsj2 Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 all the singers and standers to the back of L K and J. only way to do it. People that sit in the kop and moan MOVE its not hard to do. The Kop. What a load of shit. The club called it the kop so everyone who used to stand in the old Pen 1 and 2 at Filbo think that its the same thing. Absolutely ridiculous that anyone thinks its the same thing. What made the kop at filbert st was the atmosphere. The atmosphere is now best in L, K and J. It aint fooking difficult. MOVE YOUR SEAT and if you're too tight to pay the extra, your support cant be that good as it isnt that much more.

Although the Kop may actually hear some songs from L next week when Man City come to town..
Bettsj2 Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Except it isn't... Although the Kop may actually hear some songs from L next week when Man City come to town.. Yes it is. The so called Kop is an absolute joke.
Shrenchel Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Except it isn't... Although the Kop may actually hear some songs from L next week when Man City come to town.. Yes it is. It's rare you hear L/K from the kop but situation is exactly the same in reverse if you're down that side of the east. Really I guess it just goes to show how shit both are but anyone that's been in the two and has ears will know that L/K is much louder than the kop when you're actually in amongst them. Even for the 5 minutes per match that more than 30 people in the kop actually sing, completely pissing in the wind in terms of having enough numbers to make any noise really travel over the other side of ground. Acoustics like a brass's cvnt in the shithole,
Dan Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Maybe people aren't bothered about "banter" with the away fans and would rather just sing in support of their team all game? It would help if in the Kop the latter actually occured. I normally go in the East Stand and I'm going to move next year I think, because the atmosphere is shite and I've normally had my ticket paid for whilst here, hence why that's the case. I've been in SK3 a few times though with my Dad, and to be honest, it's a very minor improvement on the East Stand, it's actually an embarrassment how bad it is. The best idea I've heard is getting all like minded people to the front, and get them all to stand up and have gaps so people towards the back can sit with a better view, that's a far more logical idea and I can't see anyones personal argument against it. It just won't ever happen until the laws on safety are changed, and will they change? Will they absolute fvck.
demon_dog Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 I sit in the Kop. You can't hear L1 ers very well. The stadium acoustics are sh*t. Anyone noticed how loud the tannoy system is, it's like being in a Disco with the music going full blast! Good job I'm an old fuddy duddy, means I can turn my hearing aid off!
Yorkshire Blue Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Did anyone who went to the Hull game, feel their stadium had the potential for a great atmosphere, providing their fans were awful?
Gaffer Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 On a side note, why were the back of the Kop singing for Fryatt?
Fosse Boy Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 On a side note, why were the back of the Kop singing for Fryatt? Whereabouts in the Kop? Can't claim to have heard that myself...
1964FOX Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 On a side note, why were the back of the Kop singing for Fryatt? Don't understand why anyone would sing for Fryatt when Leicester's got Darius
purpleronnie Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Whereabouts in the Kop? Can't claim to have heard that myself... Hey FB, is the fosse boys website still going just had a look and the posts are from a while ago, just wanted to check how things are going?
Haydos Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 On a side note, why were the back of the Kop singing for Fryatt? Was that not 'Dyer'?
Guest Bilo Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 The song was Leicester's Got Darius to the tune of I Predict A Riot by the Kaiser Chiefs.
lestajigs Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Whereabouts in the Kop? Can't claim to have heard that myself... Right at back off kop sk3 I heard it what idiots, not bad atmosphere there today though, not a patch on L,k,J3 thought!!!

Gaffer Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 The song was Leicester's Got Darius to the tune of I Predict A Riot by the Kaiser Chiefs. Ahh, most did think it was fryatt and started to join in. sheep.
live&die Lcfc Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 would love the KOP to stand like we used to do in filbert street , however having been told off for shouting ans swearing as a family has kids, really annoyed me even though i told him there is a family stand , stewards got involved and basically was told to be quiet or i would be ejected...... this is what home games has come too, and thats why i prefer the away days
live&die Lcfc Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 i got kids and sit in the kop, the singing and swearing is all part of goin down the football, where we sit some times its loud, get different fans sitting around me each game so theres not the consistancey, think its been alot quieter this season, seems to me that these days people that dont know alot about the game would rather sit there talking sh1t than getting behind the team and enjoying themselves
The Doctor Posted 4 January 2011 Posted 4 January 2011 Ahh, most did think it was fryatt and started to join in. sheep. i don't think it was them trying to join in and getting it all wrong. Based on my memory and the time on the beeb match report it was just after fryatt scored and they felt it fit to chant for fryatt. That and the engerland chants were embarrassing.
