lcfc_jme Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Tell me you're kidding? I'm pretty sure we've never met when either of us have been sober? No, we've never met when YOU have been sober !! I seriously do think this'll be the 1 game I turn up to without beer though. Bizarre really as it's the game I most feel I may need beer to survive. For sure, we will play a strong team because we want to try and win the trophy. I hope we have a good attendance, but we don't do well in cup games for fans turning up, even in the league we get empty seats(although the tickets have been sold for them in the league). It will be fun anyway. I'd rather have your fans turn up and be in better voice than ours than have your players turn up and teach us a brutal lesson in football - which is fully what I'm expecting to happen. 4 or 5 - 1 I reckon. We'll only score because your lot are woeful at defending set-pieces as well.

Well I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have sold out for another Championship team, and I'm sure you would get more backsides on seats if you were gettin a Prem team coming to yours on Tues. There will be a chorus of "Your grounds too big for you" and "There here, there there, there every-fooking-where, empty seats" I'm sure. But it's all good banter

Personally, I'm looking forward to celebrating a rare Jack Hobbs goal to put us 1-0 up before seeing us completely capitulate and get humiliated on TV. Beaut.

I'd love Hobbsy to get his head on a good corner and bang it away like he should have done in the home leg.
JoeMercer'sWay Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 We will be better going forward than we were at your place for sure. Yeah set piece defending is our weakness, we don't have a tall enough centre back and our zonal marking means opposition players get a running jump on our defenders. but we then see if you can deal with Tevez, Dzeko, Yaya and Silva I hope, I think at least 2 will play, maybe all 4 depending.

Dzeko definitely wont be playing as he wasn't registered for the initial tie. Same with us and Yakubu.

Probably neither here nor there as you would expect them to dispatch us without their multi-million pound signing. But, I'd love us to surprise them with some of our passing game (which was obviously hard for both teams with our pitch). Wishful thinking?? I'm a Leicester fan...I'm allowed

walkerlcfc91 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Two tickets purchased in the lower tier. Honestly cannot wait!!

Ford Super Sunday Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 From looking at the MCFC seat selection website the lower tier back row is DD (Assuming that the North Stand and South Stand have the same depth) Also, My seat number is 0376. When I looked at tickets for a future MCFC game against West Brom, the seat number 0514 is right in the left hand corner of the stand (Left hand from the point of standing in the seat looking at the pitch) Hopefully that gives people a gage of their view tomorrow.
Head Honcho Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Hoping we can win this in 90 minutes. Doing a week of nights and have to be in work at 10pm.
AaronH Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Can we have a few beers on foxes travel or are they strict on that
Leicester Lass Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Can we have a few beers on foxes travel or are they strict on that No. It's illegal. Sometimes police will search the coaches, and if alcohol is found they can refuse to let anybody on the coaches (all 25+ of them!) go to the game. One coach got turned away a couple of seasons ago at Reading because of this.
AaronH Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Ah that's a bit shit, just have to have a few before the coach nd up north
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Can we have a few beers on foxes travel or are they strict on that Which coach are you on? I dislike the coaches at the best of times but sometimes it's the only viable option. But I'd be fuming if someone took alcohol on the same coach as me and stopped me being able to go to the game. EDIT: Not saying that that is you're aim or anything.
Simmo86 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Ah that's a bit shit, just have to have a few before the coach nd up north Just buy a couple of bottles of lucozade and fill them with Vodka and Redbull
davbison Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Anyone know what parking is like up near Eastlands? Planning on driving but want to make sure there is somewhere I can park without too much bother. Anyone know what parking is like up near Eastlands? Parking isn't too bad, plenty of sidestreets and car parks around but traffic can be heavy around the ground which is annoying.
davbison Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 thanks for that. No idea why my question appeared 3 times!
JoeyB Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 am getting there for between about 4 n 5, any idea's where to park?
