Ashley Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 May sound stupid but as I'm on row A, manchester citys roof looks like it points upwards behind the goals... If its raining will I get wet or not?
lcfcadam Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 May sound stupid but as I'm on row A, manchester citys roof looks like it points upwards behind the goals... If its raining will I get wet or not? Yeah, from my experiences the roof at Eastlands doesn't really do much good to anyone in terms of keeping people dry. Last time I was there I got snowed on on virtually the back row cos there's a big gap to the outside at the back too!
Mee Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Yeah, from my experiences the roof at Eastlands doesn't really do much good to anyone in terms of keeping people dry. walkerlcfc91 Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Alright guys, does anyone think if I ring first thing tomorrow i'll be able to get 2 tickets? And would I be able to pick them up from Man City's ground on the day? Didn't think I could make it but my plans have now changed! Can anyone help?
lcfcadam Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Any ideas what letters the back row is pal? Not sure, it's kinda difficult to say anyway cos the height of the stands changes all the way round. When I was near the back last time I was on W but that was in one of the really big side-on stands. Sorry that was stunningly unhelpful!

JoeMercer'sWay Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Hi guys, City fan in peace here. You'll get the whole South Stand, both tiers. You should be allowed to stand(it depends really, United got in trouble but most clubs can do what they want basically), I think only Blackpool sat down for most of the game, looking for a good atmosphere from you lot with such a big allocation. You've taken up 1/2 of our normal singing section, as half the south stand is usually our core singing supporters, our singers generally flank either side of the away end, but this time it will only be one side I think. We won't sell out, so unfortunately they'll be plenty of empty seats, but you know hopefully we'll score a few and teach you the Poznan anyway, the whole stadium did one versus Wolves which was a sight to behold. If you happen to score, it is now becoming habit for away fans to do a Poznan too, hopefully you won't need to but we'll be judging your efforts anyway . Anyway the rows go from A at the front and then go upwards alphabetically to the back, which will either be Z or a double letter row(never been in the away end ). If you're in the front few rows you will get wet if it rains. Enjoy the game(not too much), looking forward to seeing you all on tuesday . JMW.

Yeah our singing section was moved to accommodate you lot too. Bit of a shame really, but I'm sure the atmosphere will still be pretty decent (as it was here). I've been to your ground before but that was only to see Oasis, so I'm looking forward to enjoying a decent game and atmosphere regardless of the outcome. I can't speak for the other 6,000 City (LCFC ) fans, but I guarantee I'll have no voice left after the game. Here's to a good one EDIT:
JoeMercer'sWay Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 For sure, we will play a strong team because we want to try and win the trophy. I hope we have a good attendance, but we don't do well in cup games for fans turning up, even in the league we get empty seats(although the tickets have been sold for them in the league). It will be fun anyway.
