I personally think he has got good talent but has done little to impress me.But to be fair to the lad he hasn't really had the chance yet.But hopefully he will get his chance on Saturday i think the team should be:

Walker

Canero Keown Dabizas Tiatto

Scowy Gudjohnson Nalis Stewart

Connolly Benji

Yes, what I have seen (which isn't much) he has seemed to be a very attacking minded player. He looks alright to me, has to start player and get a place in the team to be a fans favourite which I think he will be. Hopefully he'll play against Watford on saturday :D

at the end of last season he looked like he actually had the desire to play for city, unlike a lot of the players, even if he isn't the best

i'd give him

i agree with ya there big nose, he showed alot of passion. If he lost the ball he battled like hell to get it back. I'm looking forward to seeing him string a few games together when he's 100% so we can see what he's really made of.

Unlike most bullshit spouted here about youngsters Canero I think is different. I'm looking forward to him getting a run of games. Certainly not as good as Makin, Scowcroft or probably Gillespie but he'll get a chance this season to make an impression. Starting at Watford this Saturday :)

I'm getting bored of this,

Who went to Charlton away last year???

IF you did, you would have seen a truly outstanding performance from Canero - don't make assumptions based on brum at home with the boo-boys.

The lads quick, he can tackle, he puts in 110%, he can dribble (which we seriously lack) and he's hungry. If Micky plays him, you'll see - on my head be it.

Get rid of Stewart, he isn't a footballer and wilcox is almost as slow as Guppy without his crossing ability.

I do like Micky but he bottles out on dropping players, you've got to be cruel to be kind.

CANERO...

Canero is very good and has an amazing talent.

I want to see more of him this season to see if he can perform this way week in week out.

Or is he one of mickeys players for the future like Priet?

Better not be, we need some fresh blood - Millwall was shocking, lost me voice too

It's been 18 months since I've seen us win (Reading) and thats about 20-25 games i've been too. I'm cursed!!!

Any therapies to suggest, other than slit me wrists??

I too was at Charlton and thought he looked excellent that day at times, he'll play this year, no doubt.

Canero hasnt really settled into the club yet. He really hasnt been given a fiar chance to prove himself and as we have been relegated I think its tiem to see what he can do. Play him against Watford!

This is a perfect example of a younger player at the club not being given a chance and this lad has got well over 100 games under his belt. Yes, he's had his injuries but that means **** all considering Adams eagerness to play Blake. Certain players at the club will get chance after chance, irrespective of fitness, ability and position. This is why Adams winds me up, perhaps there's a good reason why Canero hasn't been given as many chances as some players get, but it's seems abit of a coincidence to me.

He's been injured so he couldn't play in any game so far this season. It's nothing to do with MA not giving him a chance. When he's fit he will be in the squad

Exactly - And that chance might come on Saturday against Watford with Makin being suspended.

Canero was absoloutly amazing at Charlton. I would have him on the team sheet every time, that is how much I rate him. If he can stay fit he will be awsome for us this season and hopefully much longer after that.

I'm amazed at how people on here can have such strong views about people, with fooballers and football managers at the top of the list. How you can determine that players are amazing talents or just plain rubbish after a couple of competitive games is beyond me. A lot of you also seem to think you are qualified psychiatrists as you are able to determine characteristics like arrogance without any contact with the person. Sounds pretty arrogant to me.

Has anyone on here actually seen Canero play 90 minutes at rightback, from my memory he's only played right midfield.

Now don't get me wrong I'm sure he'll prove any excellent player, even if he is one of MA few purchases ;) .

There does however seem to be a blind faith in this player that is as yet totally unjustified.

"Canero is very good and has an amazing talent". - How do you know, are you a professional scout that has watched him on numerous occassions

"If you did, you would have seen a truly outstanding performance from Canero - don't make assumptions based on brum at home with the boo-boys". - Fine but let's also not make assumptions on the basis of one truly outstanding performance, how many pkayers over the years have failed to fulfill potential

"Canero was absoloutly amazing at Charlton. I would have him on the team sheet every time, that is how much I rate him. If he can stay fit he will be awsome for us this season and hopefully much longer after that". - Maybe, but one swallow doesn't make a summer, let's see if he can play a few games at that level first before you have him on your teamsheet everytime, oh and it just maybe that he is as injury prone as Morris.

I know you are all desparate for a 'young' lad to shine but let's wait and see, the same as we should wait and see before we slag too many other players off.

Here's to him playing at Watford, hopefully without the pressure of everyone expecting him to be LCFC's saviour of the season.

Hi Freund, That wasn't aimed at your post as you rightly say you were just passing on information. I was referring to how, in some posts people comment on the characteristics of people they've never met, the arrogant thing was just an example and something that is used quite a lot. So no offence intended, well not on that post anyway ;)
