FuriousFox46 Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Any word on when he's gonna be back? I know he was injured during the Farce of Portman Road 2010. But I didn't think it was that serious? and surely he'll take Hobbs place?
Callabinho Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I like Hobbs but vitor is a much better player! And a much better defender! He will deffo go straight back in.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Hmmm, I dunno how taken I am with Vitor. He's excellent on the ball, and marks well, but very short for a central defender and does get muscled off the ball. I don't doubt his footballing skills - he's probably the best defender we have in that respect - but I still worry about his physical presence. But then maybe he just needs a good string of games behind him to show his worth.
Stadt Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 I think he's quite well suited to the right back position but we have have enough RB's.
Ozwin Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 He was on the pitch at half time kicking the ball around wasn't he?
The Doctor Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 I think he's quite well suited to the right back position but we have have enough RB's. naughton, neilson and lamey? Numberswise perhaps but not ability. Lamey is shit, naughton can be slightly poor defensively (look at goals 2 and 4 for man city on tues) and neilson - well i like him and think he's been alright this season but last season he was poor.
cc_star Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Starting training next week according to Stringer's Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/IanStringerBBC/status/30278636514840576
