sdb Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 Until we're mathematically unable to make 6th place we don't know what league we're going to be in, we can estimate but we don't know for sure. well let me tell you now, we aint going up this year. sorry.
The Padster Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 well let me tell you now, we aint going up this year. sorry. Sorry mate but Ambitious is right on this occasion. There is still plenty to play for, I appreciate it does not look likely but there is still a chance and will be until we mathematically cannot get into 6th.
sdb Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 I never said it was impossible. It just wont happen. I'm a realist. Not gonna put myself through the stress. Still haven't recovered from last May and i'm quietly confident that next year could take a heck of a lot out of us all as well.
broughtonblue Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 I'd trust Heskey to do a job for us more than Yakubu lets put it that way. If i had to choose between them both at the end of the season, it'd be Heskey every day of the week. Bloody hell, just shows how crap the yak is when heskey is considered more of a goal threat than him!
MattyFromLE Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 Bloody hell, just shows how crap the yak is when heskey is considered more of a goal threat than him! I think he means in terms of effort and work rate for the club. Heskey put money in to save us from extinction, he's a Leicester lad, and i honestly think would give his all week in week out - what more can you ask!?

But by saying "we ain't going up this year" whilst we still have a chance is saying it is impossible. That's not realism, it's pessimism. Optimists say we are going to make it, realists say we might make it and pessimists say we won't make it. To keep this on subject before I turn it into another "Are we going up" thread, Heskey would be a beast in this division. He is big dominating son-of-a.. and not only would his hold up play allow others to run in off he might actually appease the 'passion' fans. If our lad Bruno comes home it would be a great appointment by Sven.

leicester4life Posted 27 March 2011 Posted 27 March 2011 a fall can feel like it hurts less when you brace yourself for the impact. So does a fist up the arse, but I ain't hanging around waiting for it to happen.
sdb Posted 27 March 2011 Posted 27 March 2011 leicester4life is not, repeat not, waiting for a fist up his bum.
