foxoffderby Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 My 5 year old son has just got into the whole football sticker collecting thing. I didn't want him to have Match Attax because thats all Premier League rubbish so we decided on the Npower Championship Official Sticker Collection 2011. An interesting fact on the LCFC page is that Sven likes to tuck into eggs and beans on toast as a pre match meal. I thought I'd share that with you. I know Alan Shearer liked chicken and beans. We've only managed to collect Yuki Abe, the Leicester City team kit and the Leicester City team photo so far as the sticker packs cost 50p each, when I was a kid they were only 10p each with the album costing 50p. I was an addict and remember saving all my dinner money and stealing money from my mums handbag to service my habbit. I remember swopping them in the playground, the holgram club badges were the best and you'd get a lot swops for themt. Does anyone else remember collecting these ? and have you still got the albums? they are quite collectable I've heard.

The only reason i supported Leicester was because the 1st ever hologram badge was Leicester City! it could have been much worse as i think Bristol Rovers were in the same book,i havnt got too far to travel.
Zingari Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 i can understand why Shearer's pre match meal may have been of interest ( when he was a player ) , but who gives a fook what the manager might eat prior to sitting in the dugout watching
I am Rod Hull Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 My brother has the 1978-9 panini sticker book full... I loved collecting them... swaps in the play ground... The excitement of opening the pack and looking for a badge...
