Soar Fox Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 I have been given the job of sorting out a stag do weekend. We're going Las Vegas for a week in August but we need a stag do in in england somewhere for a weekend for the people who cant make Vegas. Anyone got any deas/ suggestions?

AoWW Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 I really don't 'get' the current trend for ridiculously lavish (expensive) stag and hen do's. It just seems to me that everyone is trying to outdo each other. Whatever happened to getting together with some mates for a few pints and a curry? (Sorry, I realise that's no help whatsoever to the OP. Fish n Chips in Skeggy?)

Wymsey Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Go karting at Stoughton Air club is a great track. Again it depends on what you want to do and how much to spend or like Ashley said horse/dog races.
Guest Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Not related to the actual question but as far as the going abroad bit goes, just make sure all your passports are in date. Unlike my mate who missed his own stag do to Amsterdam cos his had just expired. We all had a good time without him though

Google a company called Red7,,,ive been on several weekends with them,,we just go for the hell of it now,,,no particular occasion! They specialise in stag and hen weekends. For about £150 in most UK cities you get 2 nights in a hotel (usually the marriott, hol inn or a hilton),,,and club entry on both nights,,with an activity thrown in as well,,,we've done a night at the dogs, pole dancing (obviously you aren't going to pick that!), paint balling and the best one we did was Its a knockout in Nottingham, they've loads to chose from, never had a bad weekend. You only have to pay £35 deposit and pay the rest just before you go. x

If you do go, book with them direct not through an agency. It's astronomical prices though agency, plus, better deals if you do karting and rage buggys direct.

gazfox9 Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I went on a stag do at, believe it or not, butlins! Wasn't expecting a lot but it was a brilliant weekend, pretty cheap too. They do 'adult weekenders', themed on 70's, 80's, 90's etc. Will deffo go again.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 Best Stag do i went on started with a few beers and breakfast at 8am followed by suiting up for a day at the races for the Australia Cup. After 5 races the meet got cancelled due to the biggest hail storm and flash flooding i have ever witnessed. So we walked our marquee with us all (25 of us) under it dancing and drinking for 5kms until we got to a pub then from pub went to our appartments strippers then out to a night club til 5am. Was the best day ever so random and the rain actually made it more random....we actually made the newspapers a few times for walking down the street holding up traffic with our marque looking like drowned rats and five of my mates went for a streak in there underwear in the hail storm causing massive welt marks.
