danlcfc4ever Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 :nono: No matter how many times a myth is repeated, it is and will remain a myth. I think that's the only time I've ever heard anyone say the new ground is better for atmosphere. You must be joking?? I used to lose my voice on a regular basis, in the Kop... Never done it since we moved... You're clearly not singing loud enough then mate! I lose my voice most weeks! Goal music is shit.
purpleronnie Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 Problem is people moan but dont do anything. You would need huge numbers of fans to get together and let the club know you no longer want the music. The odd email here and there isn't going to make any difference. But the idea of fans giving up their time and getting together to either protest or contact the club on mass is an alien concept over here, its just the way it is unfortunately ,and no amount of posts on a forum will change it. No doubt this topic will be brought up countless times in the future.
LCFCmatt Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 Just play something from Kasabian's new album in September
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 Goal Music is crap. Think we shouldn't have Fire it just doesn't sound right when we score and then they play a song that doesn't realy represent us scoring a goal.

I remember when I first came to a match and heard that...I was like, "What on earth do they play that for?!"
Bellend Sebastian Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 My favourite matchday sound is thousands of people collectively saying 'the atmosphere's not what it used to be'. Sends shivers down me spine it does
@cheyette Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 Why are people complaining that the atmosphere is not what is used to be? The fans create the atmosphere. Goal Music is there just to add to the noise and make it even louder when the home crowd score so the away team feels even more unsettled. It makes more sense for us to play Kasabian then any other club- and other clubs do play them, seeing as they support the club it makes sense for us to claim their music- it's powerful and catchy and it does add to the atmosphere- we shouldn't play chelsea dagger though- it's a chelsea song.

It's there to make people settle down quicker after we score.
Ziggy1990 Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I like FIRE when we score.... when i hear it on the radio or tv etc, i think of my club. In my opinion, i would like to see it stay. I would like to think that music (good or bad) would not alter the way any of us choose to celebrate a goal. .....Each to their own mind.

I'd like to think I had a chance of nailing pippa middleton, but that isn't the case either.
