demon_dog Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I heard Stringer say on R.L yesterday that we have just broken the record for being undefeated at home. The last time we had such a good run was 54 yrs ago.
Corky Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 We went a year unbeaten at home in 2008 to 2009, about 26 matches.
Guest ttfn Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 I heard that on the radio too - must be at this level

Matt Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 # Leicester 1-1 Coventry: On the bright side, Leicester are on their longest unbeaten home run at this level for 54 years. @IanStringerBBC 1 day ago
Scaramanga! Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 We lost to Millwall 1-0 at home in 08/09. After that we went 24 unbeaten at home, I believe. And he said at this level. 08/09 we were league 1.
Foxblogger Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Yeah, it's at this level. 13 home league games unbeaten since we lost at home to QPR. In 1956/57 City went 17 home matches without defeat.
shailen Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 With a record like this surely we will he promoted!
The Sven Revolution Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 This is a big deal..if we go unbeaten at home till the end of the season..WE WILL BE IN THE PLAY OFFS! We ought to pick up a few away wins though..I'm not ruling out a shock win over QPR!
Babylon Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Ha... quite funny having the "54 year record broken" and the "Svens mistakes he needs to correct" threads sitting next to each other. What an almost impossible job managers have.

What an almost impossible job managers have. Yeah, it's quite fun. Just because we have great players people think we will dominate and if we don't they moan about how bad this player was and how bad decision it was to have that player instead of tthe other. A 54 year record broken by, mostly, Sven and the team....... :sge: By the way, Westwood in Cov is regarded as the best keeper outside PL an M. King isn't bad either. Nearly every team has a few great players that can make a difference under a game.
