Bilbo Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Not that I'm ever going to be able to afford one but I was just wondering how much per season a box at our ground costs? When I'm at work I sit and dream...
Guest Bilo Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 £14,500 plus VAT a season. You can split that between 10-12 people if that helps though.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 couldn't be in a box myself. I sit and dream of legalised pyro!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Don't know why you'd want one really mate. They still wont give you a beer during the game for some reason. I suppose it would be easier to smuggle in a few cans in your bag though.
I am Rod Hull Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 I went in one once, Grimsby at home under Mickey Adams.... We kept drinking and got a knock on the door, was told to stop so we locked the door and shut the curtains.

thybluefox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Its the law I'm afraid chaps, not allowed to drink and watch the game like we'd all like to.
cc_star Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I've been in one quite a few times over the past couple of years, a mate's Dad has treated a few clients & filled the rest up with friends They sometimes put them on sale for £7,500+VAT, but that does include a free programme each But yes, it is illegal to consume alcohol in view of the pitch during the game (actually 15mins before & after I think) they check up on you as well by coming into the room, but its quite easy to drink the whole game and not get caught, just by leaving one of the curtains half drawn & standing behind it to drink so the stewards don't grass you up, you have to watch the waiters & that though who pop their head in to check though
