Book your tickets to Wembley Ravens fans. :chant:

for a split second then I got excited because I thought for some reason the NFL had announced the next international series game would include the Baltimore Ravens which is who I support..

guessing you meant Coalville though <_<

Real Roy of the Rovers stuff from them, superb news for the town and Leicestershire if they hold on to that ever so slender margin.

Just got a text, apparently kicked off after the second goal. lol

Cheers for that Green Street. I'm evidently not "ITK" like you are.

Wasn't being sarcy towards you so sorry if it sounded that way.

Just know of a few people that follow them that's all. Don't know what ITK is,and Im not 'Green Street'.

Anyhow 3-2 Congrats Coalville!

I've been to three FA Vase semi finals and it kicked off at every one! I reckon it's because all the local hard lads who would normally be following their bigger team come out for the big games of their local side and nature takes its course!

Delighted for Coalville, you canna beat a good non league cup run, and a trip to Wembley with your local amatuer or semi-pro side is a dream.

Anyone know if the shirts they sell via club shop come with crest and sponsor logo as well?

Fancy giving it a pop, just to challenge my mates over here as to what club the shirt belongs to.laugh.gif

I speak for myself in that number by the way- how many do coalville usually attract? 300 at most? I could really understand if the real fans got mad at it. Same as if city made the playoff final- 20k fans would come out the woodwork.

Ive already been asked by a regular city season ticket holder whether we're getting replica shirts for it. Are we fook. I couldnt name one coalville player, nor one coalville song- leicestershire la la la I guess is one.

If you think l block is bad, wait til you see wembley way on 8th may

I must admit that even though I ve lived in both towns at some point in my life I would have prefered Lynn to make it to Wembley.

Two guys got arrested at the match. Apparently there was shit loads of police at the final whistle and even both chairmans came down to the trouble to try and calm things down. lol . Now you don't get that in the higher leagues. Apparently there was loads of wee chavs starting trouble. Not the usual Lynn fans I'm happy to report.

King's Lynn 2 Coalville Town 3

Lynn lost their unbeaten home record as they had no answer to The Ravens attack.

The Linnets named three changes from the team that took part in the first leg whilst Coalville had the same starting line-up with just the one change on the bench..

Lynn needed an early goal but it was the visitors who got a perfect start on five minutes when a Callum Woodward free kick from some 20 yards was diverted into the Lynn net by a defender giving Street no chance.

Jerome Murdock increased Coalville's lead on the half hour, a quick break seeing Murdock through to beat Street.

The game turned on 57 minutes with a Robbie Harris brace in the space of two minutes but any hopes of a late comeback took a knock when Lynn were reduced to ten men on 69 minutes when Ross Watson was dismissed for a second yellow card.

Matt Gardener put The Ravens 3-2 up in the following minute.

Lynn: Street, Bexfield (Bacon 52), Alsop, McNeil, Watson, L Thurlbourne, White (Doherty 52), Spriggs, J Thurlbourne, Defty, Harris. Subs: Buhlemann, C Defty, Hails

Sent Off: Watson (two yellows). Booked: Spriggs

Attendance: 2,354

Well done Coalville. :appl:

I think its different to leicester attracting more fans to wembley, coalville need as many fans to go for financial security, its a difficult job keeping such a club alive so these chances don't come along too often, I say exploit it as much as you can if it secures coalville future for years to come then thats great.

I totally agree on the respect. I think when they (i refrain from saying we although I did go) played wycombe in the 1st round in 04 or 05, it guarenteed financial security for x amount of years.

Not sure on the ticket prices yet, but regardless im sure the tickets will sell.

Does anyone know whats the usual allocation is for these finals?

There are some delegates from Coalville going to Wembley today to discuss ticket prices, allocations etc. So all details should be on the Coalville website tonight or tomorrow morning.

This is going to be a brilliant game, I hope as many people jump on the bandwagon as possible as it's all money for the club at the end of the day. Hopefully we will be going there hoping to secure a double, getting promoted out of this league would be brilliant, we've come close in the previous two seasons so I'm hoping it's third time lucky. We need two big performances against Tipton and Stratford Town if we want to go up though.

I don't mind being a fairweather fan when it comes to Coalville Town, but any Leics team that moves up the leagues has my support (and respect).

Who knows? A Leics double at Wembley might still happen.

And should they get promoted, a derby with Shepshed (although the Shed avoiding the drop looks rather unlikely).

Things are looking good for the Town.thumbsup.gif
