Jerome Boateng dropped something on a plane I think, meant his debut at Man City was delayed cos he injured part of his foot quiet seriously.

And I can't remember the names, but I remember someone dropping a glass bowl on their foot, and someone getting their fingers caught in a car window.

Liam Lawrence stood on either his remote or dog and broke his foot :crylaugh:

Can you not remember which because they both look so similar

He tripped over his dog and fell down the stairs.

Was he carrying a remote at the time?

West Ham's Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Roy Carroll has suffered an injury setback.

Carroll missed Sunday's 2-1 win over Middlesbrough after picking up a bizarre training ground injury.

The 27-year-old was collecting footballs on Friday when his studs got caught in the goal-netting and he injured his knee.

Interestingly, Carroll is now a free agent after being released by Odense.

He was on trial at Sheffield United however he conceded two goals within ten minuets and was sent off, which led to a penalty during a reserve match against Barnsley. As a result of his poor performance whilst on trial, he was not offered a contract with the Blades.

Wasn't that David James? Didn't Ian Walker do almost exactly the same thing while he was here?

Ah, just found this. It was Canizares, although James also figures with a silly injury :giggle:

He did quite well at Odense, but he wanted to go back to the UK so got released from his lucrative contract.

I think Mark Fish, playing for Charlton at the time, fell through a sheet of glass of some sort
