nickm Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 So where's all the money we were promised? how much money have these new owners actually spent-forget about the Yak's wages and the wages of the other loanees-we're a business and it's right to assume a business has to pay wages to it's employees-there's enough money going through the turnstiles and through the club to pay to run the club so what about all this money we've been promised-the owners of this club want to get us up on a budget and one season in the premiership will give them all a big earner--questions need to be asked at a much higher level than i'm asking here to find out if the wool's being pulled over our eyes! Just a rant anyway!
Adster Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 3m for Waghorn? Loan fee's for Naughton, Vitor, Van Aanholt, Cunningham, Yakubu, Bruma, Bednar and Kirkland? Money for Bamba? Laying a £120,000 new pitch at the Walkers in mid season? Come on, use your brain you deluded idiot.
bjblyth Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Are you mental? We only have loanee's because no one 'big' wants to come and play for a mid-table Championship club. The kind of players most fans seem to be expecting are the ones who can earn the same money and play a higher standard of football in the Premier League, even if it's with a club like Blackpool or West Brom, it's still Premier League football. They certainly won't get Premier League football at the Walkers next season so they'd have a year of Championship standard AT LEAST. I think Leicester are being very respectable by not throwing the cash around. Sit tight and just enjoy the football we are playing, enjoy the majority of the results and be happy we're not looking at relegation!!! (edit) + everything the above poster says!
21st Century Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 They've put £10 million into the general running so far.

darko2k7 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 I don't get what you mean . It is widely known the new owners have spent alot of money on the club . And why forget the loan players wages that is where the money has been spent plus the millions spent on loan fees and agent fees to keep them here for the season plus Waghorns transfer , the club's income nowhere near covers that . And then there is staff wages, sven for one is on a million a year and then there is the stadium exspanstion planned . The owners have been very good so far and yes maybe all this does ride on us getting to the prem but i for one am enjoying the ride ,

And when the financials were announced a week or 2 ago they had said they'd already spent ~11.5m Some players are on ridiculous wages & some of the loan fees we've paid to attract some of the players we have has also been ridiculous. Basically we're paying more out to achieve the same points per game as we did last season & that's obviously only going to increase if Kamara or a multitude of other benchwarmers join us this week So that's where the money's gone, what the over-spend means for the summers transfer budget is unclear but unless they have a money making machine I would guess they brought forward some of next years budget
Dan Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Shittest attempt at getting a bite. Shittest attempt at getting a bite.

Houdini Logic Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 I think he has a point, we all know the extra spending this season is being single handedly paid for by The Radiator Factory
