Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 It's not in a Minister for Information's remit to be making such demands. I was stung by the wasp some time before the bee incident, and the passing of years hadn't lessened the horrific memories associated with the former. The bee sting was so much less traumatic that it was almost enjoyable by comparison, so much so that I'm going to go and find a bee to sting my face RIGHT NOW. I probably neglected to mention that all members of my cabinet are required to wear a beard of bees at all times. Is this a problem? I think I overdid it! Never underestimate my devotion to the cause Eternal Chairman!
Haydos Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Me too... I absolutely HATE oilseed rape it makes my life a complete misery in the summer and there's millions of acres of the f***ing stuff Too true.
lcfcadam Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Most likely, yes. But still made me laugh a little. Me too, but I just wasn't sure whether others thought it was real or not! In a kind of related story, didn't the met office get a load of complaints after they played an April fools joke by saying it would be 20 degrees in Manchester? Serves the silly tits right for going out in flip flops and shorts. Absolute bastards, we had a picnic in the park planned that day and everything and it turned out grey, cold, wet and generally ****ing miserable
Haydos Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 how is there millions of acres of rape? Worldwide and in all of history I bet there's millions of acres of rape!
MikeyT Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 It's funny to see how some threads progress. One minute it's the nice weather today, then it's cloud formations and now it's rape!
StanSP Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 You brought the cloud formations in. Don't bring that shit on us!
MikeyT Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 You brought the cloud formations in. Don't bring that shit on us! I do apologise unreservedly.
Vacamion Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 A report from our Glasgow correspondent: I've just finished building a fooking ark... Enjoy the nice weather down there!
MikeyT Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 A report from our Glasgow correspondent: I've just finished building a fooking ark... Enjoy the nice weather down there! Do i detect that you are a bit jealous of the lovely warm and sunny weather we are having today?
Vacamion Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Do i detect that you are a bit jealous of the lovely warm and sunny weather we are having today? Jealous? Yes. I will just have to take vicarious pleasure in the rest of the UK's mini heatwave, whilst I wear a jumper.
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Worldwide and in all of history I bet there's millions of acres of rape! possibly but i don't think acres is the correct unit to be measuring rape.
Haydos Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 possibly but i don't think acres is the correct unit to be measuring rape. It's a travesty it's taken this long for someone to measure rape in acres.
Ozwin Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Today's been lovely. Went up town, chilled in Soar Point for a bit, pint on the riverside. What more could you want?

Bellend Sebastian Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 I think I overdid it! Never underestimate my devotion to the cause Eternal Chairman! That's the spirit. It's that kind of 'can do' attitude that will take us straight to the top, and possibly beyond, although where that actually is I wouldn't like to speculate
