Levein should have demanded the £2 million he's worth and sent us back in to administration. I loved it when we nearly folded.

Levien's got a tough job on his hand and we can only hope he's got the brains to pull it off.

Leveinis thinkin of the club for the long term.
dog_4 Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 don't really think we have about 2 - 3 million to spend on a keeper is well mate. if we did i'd defo have him and i like douglas. i member o'neil saying about a year back he was one of the best keepers in the world. also he looked great on crosses etc in the scottish cup final.
Durnerz Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 Craig Gordon is pants, I wouldn't pay 2p for him let alone £2m!
Ajax Treesdown Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 GORDON IS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS WORSE THAN FOREST'S KEEPER!
Cat Burger Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 Douglas is decent! I've seen him play a couple of times. But still a three year contract may prove to be a bit brainless, If he's crap we won't shift him. Oh well I guess it must've been the only way to make him sign after all the time the deal seemed to be going on.
dan_84 Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 we should have signed gordan is like saying we should have signed buffon. It aint going to happen because you require money to buy these players. People need to give Douglas and even Henderson a chance to prove themselves. I think its an excellent signing, how many other keepers are out there on a free that played in a european cup final 2 years ago, and regulary plays in front of 60,000 people. errrmm.... Not many!
kahoonas Posted 7 June 2005 Author Posted 7 June 2005 i was just trying to make my first topic as controversial as possible unfortunately i didnt succeed - thought it was going to be all out abuse
