redandwhitearmy Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Hi all, thought I would pop on here and give my thoughts... Though the game lacked in any quality from either team, both seemed to lack any urgency - felt like an end of season game with nothing to play for. Thought Naughton at right back looked quality for you, might cost you similar to what we paid for Gunter to get him permanently though. Yakubu looked very poor, no effort or desire, sure you have better than that. Wellens looked decent, him and Mckenna had a good tussle. King was quiet, thought he would be more influential. Finally your goalkeeper, knowing he is a bit poor I can't understand why McGugan didnt test him from range more often. Likewise I'm surprised none of your players had more runs at our excuse of a defence - why hoof it up when thats the only thing Morgan is good at defending against? On that showing I cant imagine either of us making an impact on the playoffs so on the bright side at least you may get to witness our annual end of season comedy

redandwhitearmy Posted 22 April 2011 Author Posted 22 April 2011 Why was Weale playing ahead of Ricardo anyhow? And no Berner? - from what my Leicester mates have told me over the last few weeks I was delighted to see Bruma, Weale and Yakubu start.
ScouseFox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 That's all we've got left now, seeing Forest manage to fuck up again And yeah, what Trav said, decent, fair review. You can hang around with RedHux.

Yeah, we lack players that run at people, except Dyer (who can't do much else) and Vassel, but he doesn't try it often enough. We tend to get to their box and then just remain static. King doesn't tend to have much of a presence, scoring goals aside, he's been having a bit of a poor run these last few months. Must say, I'm impressed with Chambers (I think it was) who took a boot to the head (albeit a light one) and just carried on. Fair play to the guy!

Draw would have been about right, couldn't really see us scoring unless a McGugan wondergoal or a clanger helped us out! Glad you noticed Chambers, he's actually been the much better of the two this season (despite Morgan making the PFA team of the year for some reason). Anyways 3-3 for the season and both of us doing the double over Direby - something we can both be happy about
acooling08 Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Funny how fans of other clubs knew our keeper was shit before today but 70% of our fans haven't caught on yet. Could say the EXACT same about Yakubu.
The Doctor Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Why was Weale playing ahead of Ricardo anyhow? A large majority of leicester fans are seemingly slightly retarded - ricardo was hung out to dry and given more grief than weale has for errors like the third today for simply punching the ball rather than catching it - whether it's because weale was one of pearsons blue eyed boys, people still holding a grudge against ricardo for the penalty shoot-outs in Euro 2004 and WC' 06 i don't know but he's been given more stick than his performances have warrented. You seem like a reasonable person rather than the usual opposition fans that know nothing and aren't afraid of showing it, feel free to stick around.
