Foxes4Life18 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Just wanted to know what your thoughts would be on loan signings next season do you agree or not agree? Personally I agree but only with about 2 loan signings a season we don't need no more than two. Cheers, Foxes 4Life18
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 If it's going to improve the team and help us achieve promotion i wouldn't care
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I'd agree, as long as there are fewer loanees than this season.
Salieri Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 And the award for the longest thread title goes to....... I would like to see less loans next season definitely. However if the likes of Naughton and Vitor can only return to the club via a loan spell, then so be it. Quality, not quantity please.
ScouseFox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Numerous loans got us out of League 1, and I don't remember anyone complaining. If loans are the way to get us out of this league, I doubt there'd be many complaints this time next year.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Sven could only get loan players when he joined the club because the transfer window wasn't open. He did that very well, as did Pearson in the two previous season's. I'd happily have loan signings again, I just don't like it how, currently, one has too sit out for another one to play - thats unevens the balance and maybe, morale of the squad.
dannythefox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Theres nothing wrong with two or three but its been a bit silly this season.
KingDarius Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 If it's going to improve the team and help us achieve promotion i wouldn't care Agree with this
h.nutt26 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Yes, the reason we have so many at the minute is because Sven has only had the January transfer window which is full of inflated prices. Without paying over the odds loans are by far the best option for a manager just coming in. I think we will see many new players come in for frees, fees and loans. I also believe many players will leave adding funds for new "better" players.

I agree...if the quality of the loanees is correct for the style of play that Sven wants to adopt then this will do no harm. I would go for a maximum of three though because continuity and stability equals success
mess1 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 2 or 3 loan players for next season and sven buy some more players
topharry123 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Definitely, but not as many as this season. It's no good when the whole of your back 4 are loan signings, and I believe we had that a couple of times, as well as our front two! We need to buy a few players, hopefully a couple of loanees we had this season, and maybe get a couple of season long loans in to go with them.
Alex Black Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 If the loan players are considering signing for the club I think the loan period should be seen as a "try before you buy". If you look at players like Kirkland and Bednar, how gutted would we all have been if they were bought and paid for?
