Fox92 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 I've not heared that before, and I am sure that Given didn't join just because of that. Anyway, would our season be over with Given, or not? You can't say. Its like saying if Pearson was manager this year, he would have finished in the play offs again. Nobody know. Think about it though, we probably would have still lost the games we did, such as the home games against Coventry, Portsmouth and Norwich City etc, because Given can't play outfield, create chances and score goals as well. Even though Weale did make mistakes that a good goalkeeper probably wouldn't, Given would still be playing behind the same defence as Weale, Ricardo and Logan.
