Leicester City owners will take a hit if it means promotion

Sorry to be a party pooper but what would happen if these Thai owners spend loadsa money and then f**k off? Would the club be left in the doo-doos?

I appreciate what their doing but I'm slightly worried about them turning us into the man city of the championship, pumping loads of money into big name players who don't achieve much.

Other than that, it's all well and good.

Champions league football and a FA cup win???

Why take leicester to asia when asia came to leicester 20 year ago?

Sounds good, providing we get promotion. If we did then I genuinely believe we could become one of the richest clubs in the country

Not quite sure what your point is there Stu?

Because even though leicester has a large asian population (i think that's your point) we weren't big in asia, still only in leicester. By "taking leicester to asia" we can actually make ourselves big over there.

I agree here, caution still needs to be urged when spending, I remember Gaydamak and his lot at Portsmouth promising the world and he ended up buggering off and leaving them with players like Utaka on 80k a week.

I think our lot have there head screwed on a bit more but its one thing talking the talk and one thing walking the walk, we actually have a net profit on transfer since they have arrived so far, we are going to learn a lot in the summer.

Not to mention the substantial difference between subcontinent asia and oriental asia!!

with all the worry being thrown about... just a reminder of another stoy from a couple of weeks ago...... please read the opening post if you havnt already.....

how on earth this story in the Merc on the 8th of June suddenly means we wont be spending any money i have no idea.....

One of the biggest challenges we face will be making the club self-sufficient," she said.

"To even attempt to do this we must work with the local community, the supporters and businesses, whilst creating a venue that people choose to use throughout the week and not just on matchdays."

Expect some interesting commercial developments over the next few months, and with her retail background the club shop should get an overhaul too.

Now sitting in the bar of a hotel in Nha Trang Vietnam, doing the Top Gear tour from top to bottom.

Leicester shop in Bangkok airport (1st stop before changing) is a small section of a larger shop and an area outside of the shop that also shows LCFC games throughout, all seems very weird.

Know this part of the world fairly well and football is massive, always greated by 'where you from' followed by ' Manchester United' "Rooney"....great! the market here is huge and Leic in Thailand is well known.

Posted before saying there are many more offices being added to the Walkers, we are part of the bigger picture, which is great as more wonga.

Not a two season play thing.

Madrid at the Walkers and the Gunners in Thailand are fair indicators
