DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 I',ve just booked three nights at the Premier Inn, in the City centre, at the end of October. Does anyone know what it's like? Bringing my partner up, to see the fair city, and surrounding areas, etc. If anyone is daft enough to want a meet up at a good pub, then I'll stand you a drink.-More of that nearer the time.,

Bert Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 Pretty decent location, right near the train station and the London road pub crawl isn't too bad.
Parafox Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Mmmm,.. I went there in a professional capacity a while ago to a "collapsed male" in one of the rooms. The call was made by a concerned female in the room with him. Got there with police close behind. The girl was about 17. The collapsed male about 30. He was comatose on the floor barely breathing from a heroin OD and she was a hooker. The staff said they knew there was a trick being turned and that it often happens but thay are in no position to turn people away that they suspect of using a room for prostitution unless they have solid proof and then they then can call the police to deal. I take it you're neither a heroin addict nor a hooker... you should be fine. The room looked pretty nice

Zingari Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 why do premier inns all have the same picture on the wall opposite the bed ? it's a sort of surreal landscape of 3 "lollipop" looking tree shapes reflected underneath . the whole picture is in shades of purple and yellow ( this is the only connection i can make to the company as the logo are the same colours ) ps premier inns have all been brilliant that i've stayed at , the beds are enormous , and i've always managed to get them for £29 edit here's a picture and an explanation , bit i don't believe it http://andrewbradford.co.uk/blog/tag/premier-inn
DB11 Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 I like how the picture has been explained to do with heroin addiction, and then you read the post a few posts up

Soar Fox Posted 29 May 2011 Posted 29 May 2011 Parafox- was the prossie fit? Also was he naked and erect?
Parafox Posted 29 May 2011 Posted 29 May 2011 Parafox- was the prossie fit? Not that I remember... but she wasn't dog rough either.. I didn't check her for STD's Also was he naked and erect? He was fully clothed and if he was erect it would've been a priapism (google it) as he was completely defunct of all sensations at the time. It looked like the drugs came first before any "paid for" action. He was incapable of coming at all...
