Ozwin Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 I bought it from an Orange shop but I've heard everything goes through the Apple store, just need someone to clarify really. It's not a major problem, it's just the button playing up. You have to press it quite hard to work and when you want to close apps it takes a few tries before a double click will open up the bar at the bottom. It used to be really responsive but not anymore. It's still under warranty and everything, had it under a year so there should be no problems. Has anyone had this problem before? Will they fix it there and then or will I have to wait a day or two? Cos that'd suck balls.
Jon the Hat Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 They will give you a new one on the spot. Book a genius appointment for quick service.
Alexikokopops Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Go to the Apple store, you'll get a new one, especially if it's under warranty.
Ozwin Posted 3 June 2011 Author Posted 3 June 2011 Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't though, it's well annoying. I know if I go it'll work fine and they'll be like 'wtf m8 you trying to con us?'

Ozwin Posted 3 June 2011 Author Posted 3 June 2011 I look after my shit, my iPhone is practically pristine. I'm still a sentimental git though and would be well sad having to swap it
Jon the Hat Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Backup before you take it in as you will lose everything on it. Obviously.
Ozwin Posted 6 June 2011 Author Posted 6 June 2011 Don't suppose anyone's jailbroken their iPhone have they? I'm thinking about it but have the fear.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 June 2011 Posted 6 June 2011 Don't suppose anyone's jailbroken their iPhone have they? I'm thinking about it but have the fear. Edit Some gibberish i wrote earlier which turned out to be rubbish.
ACF Posted 6 June 2011 Posted 6 June 2011 No you don't, if you have a problem just restore it wipes away the jailbreak, THEN you can take it in, and they wont know the difference. I've done it to my iPod Touch, plus many others, never had a problem which wasn't through lack of brain ability from myself.
DB11 Posted 6 June 2011 Posted 6 June 2011 Apple store! Took mine for a cracked screen, woman said it will cost £120 to replace it, do I want to go ahead. I said well yeah I can't have it looking like that, and she said ok sir for this one time only I'm going to waiver the fee. Gave me a brand new one there and then, and even transferred all my data over for me!
