Again Stu, you seem to think you've got the finger on the pulse of this forum, and i would say that your wide of the mark. Very wide of the mark in fact.

Yes there are those who get overly-excited when there's a name that comes up in the media, and some overly optimistic that we'll romp it. But protecting yourself from heartache by not having hope, and not sharing that hope on a public forum is not a crime. Cause that is what the majority of positive posters are indicating on FT and elsewhere.

If this bothers you to the point where you feel the need to insult everyone, can i suggest to not read or bother involving yourself in mediums that don't share your depressive viewpoint. Chin up... Coalville has that effect on people.

Reading back I do come across as arrogant, but I know for a fact the biggest gripe my forest n derby mates have with city is that we think we have a right to go up. In reading this forum most of the time, I find it hard to disagree. One lad remarked to me a couple of weeks ago, 'i can't believe you have a season ticket when you never think we'll go up!'

I'd love nothing more than to be proved wrong next may, and have the egg on my face.

Oh, and wouldn't like to think i've insulted anyone, but if I have, apologies!

Don't confuse matters open to interpretation with those that have an absolute right answer. Interpreting something differently to others who may have differing information doesn't make someone an idiot. Only the most supremely arrogant and closed-minded people would suggest that. However, asserting something that is obviously wrong based on nothing at all does show a person up for being stupid (if you've read much TB, the name syd might ring a bell). I suspect you already have access to my opinion on all this though. You've probably just misunderstood one or two posts, just like you misunderstood the one earlier in this thread, and jumped to an erroneous conclusion.

I reckon this is merely to do with issues with our lack of CEO and Finance Director through the start of June. We've got those important staff inplace now, however, so give 'em a week to check us out before Sven gets the go-ahead to make any move. No problems at all
