jonthefox Posted 18 June 2011 Posted 18 June 2011 I think its a fantastic idea, but fellow foxes, we MUST out do them
UrbanFox Posted 18 June 2011 Posted 18 June 2011 Great idea! I wouldn’t worry about making a carnival atmosphere in the away end either you will be fine with all your flags and standing up! We have 2 sets of rules at the Walkers stadium 1 for the Home Fans and 1 for the Away end! For example.... Away end it is perfectly fine to all turn up in Nazi outfits bounce up and down For 90mins while chanting at us explaining we are a town full of ..."insert any Racist name here".. Then its perfectly ok to unveil a 100ft by 100ft banner of our queen, set fire to it and all do the conga around it while she burns! Meanwhile in the home end, a gentleman stands up for 2 mins, He is pounced on by 4 members of our steward team dragged head first down the walkway, his head is being bounced off every step on the way down, he is then taken out of the ground took round to the ticket office entrance, made to stand against the wall, where he meets a 6 strong firing squad! Despite him screaming I only wanted to go for a Pi$$, Barclay then gives the ok and he gets 6 bullets in his head! I Love Our Club xx

accessory Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 Would be good to see a decent Palace turnout in Leicester for a change.. Anything that can be done to prove to mainstream fans that not all Palace fans are like Matthew Simmons deserves our support.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 Selhurst the day after New Years Day could get very Lionel. Bring it on.
cpfcfly Posted 20 June 2011 Author Posted 20 June 2011 Hi again! I'm getting a lot of stick from other Palace fans for posting on here, with personal insults etc. So this will probably be my last post. Just to update you that you are now 3rd behind Birmingham by 2 votes and behind Derby by 33 votes. Sorry, but not looking good for you guys. Bye for now, or forever.
Dan Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 Well that's probably the shittest post we could've asked for. Personal fvcking unsults? God almighty. I can understand us being behind Brum but Derby? Mediocre away IMO, it's not bad for us as we're a local side but for Palace? Don't see what it has over Leicester.

Well they chose Coventry for their last one of these, and we're a popular choice for this one, so unique grounds with great atmospheres are evidently not that high on the priority list. Think they just want a massive away end that's not too hard to get to. Derby/Brum/Us all fit that bill.
Alexikokopops Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 I love Palace away. Love it. It's also my second nearest club (after West Ham). Annoyingly I'm away for the latter away game, and possible away for Palace. Rubbish.
Mack Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 It's for the best if they dont come. If they did Morrisons would run out of spot cream and carrier bags, and you wouldn't get a decent anorak in Millets for months after....
Madrid_Fox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 with regards to the ticket idea i'd think it's possible city will be able to co-operate, Top & co seem to have their heads screwed on in terms of looking out for the fans. However we have the most backward thinking chief of security in football: sitting in the wrong seat? 5 game ban Touching a steward? ejection and a ban + a trip to the cop shop Appealing a ban? Increased ban length Attempt to enter the ground wearing a certain scarf? Denied entry Bring in confetti? Confiscation due to fire hazard (in a no-smoking stadium) I've seen all this happen in the last 12 months. Here is a way we can combat that.... http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=73965
cpfcfly Posted 27 June 2011 Author Posted 27 June 2011 Hi there, Bit of an update. The ticket agreement apparently cannot go ahead so that is out of the question. There are proposals for two POTDs this year. At the moment Derby have won the vote by a clear margin. At the moment it's neckandneck between you guys and Brum. What may influence it is your signing of Neil Danns. The proposal is that POTD2 will happen at Leicester in November this year, and POTD3 will be at Derby in April (I think). Good news for you guys!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Great idea, hope something comes of it. And as I live close tho selhurst park I'm quids in for the away in Jan :-)
