We're still lacking the batting ability on a flat pitch when we should be putting big scores on. There's still the argument that having Trott and Cook in the opening three puts too much pressure on Keiswetter/KP etc. to score quickly. It would be interesting to see England alter the batting order depending on who is out first. That said, Cook's got an excellent average and strike rate in this series. Ultimately, I'm just rambling. Still, Broad took a couple of wickets.

I've got to go to a few county games, we have been getting a few 20/20 matches over here and the grounds look amazing. Was watching Surrey v Sussex and the ground was superb small and all the fans city on the ground a good bit of character.

Using the age old "take the 30 over score and double it" method, that put us at around 350. That's probably a touch ambitious, but 320 would easily have been achievable. Lets hope it turns for Swann and Patel.
