The wrong place wrong time thread

Was trolling through old topics last night and could not find a topic like this

So have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time?

I will start

Was going to work one cold night and as I turned out the driveway and car came speeding down the road hit a tree and the driver flew out the windscreen and was pronounced down on the scene. So I went back to my house and called in sick beacuse I was in shock!

Or when I was a wee lad biking home from school I opened the door to what I thought was the TV in the living room and from then on I never look at my parents in the same way

So some of you must have awkard moments or ones you regret just any thing that fits the topic title I guess

Dunno about wrong place at the wrong time but went round to see my mum a few years ago and heard an almighty bang round the back of the house. Ran round onto the road that backs onto the house and saw that a friend from way back had smashed his car into a fully loaded skip that was on the road. couldnt get any sense out of him and noticed that there was at least 3 or 4 pints of blood behind the drivers seat in the footwell. pronounced dead around 20 mins later.

Very sad day indeed.

My Mother and Father were certainly when they saw each other in the Little Chef in Markfield. (Whilst they were still together. :|>_< )

Driving through Paris around 15 years ago and some bastard clipped the Punto I borrowed in this tunnel, gave him the car back with a slight nick and not heard from him for years.
