You fvcking dopey cvnt

What a highly intelligent reply, to a reasonably good post

You obviously have a bee in your bonnet about authority, or is it a chip on your shoulder, from some dark deed in your past?

A Civil Liberties ideologist eh. Hmm. You must be a very sad case indeed!

. Mayhap, you are an Anarchist, as you certainly sound like one. You know what I mean, Oz, that old inferiority complex, which is forever present in most of your splendid postings!

Possibly you were found wandering in the Bush as a small child, and were brought up by a family of rogue kangaroos, which would account for your feeling inadequate, and insecure..

Anyway, never mind, old chap, we forgive you.

How wonderful, a response from one of the forums foremost forward thinkers, please feel free to enlighten me with some more of your opinions,( ill give you an hour or two so you can go through the redtops and find out what they are).

Sadly, no secrets, dark deeds or bees in bonnets, just an opinion formed by thinking and listening to people from all walks of life.

So.. civil liberties are sad?

An anarchist?.. no, but i can understand and appreciate some of their thinking.

Im glad you enjoy my postings...its nice that you have someone there to read them to you. (perhaps have them spend a little more time next time and actually explain them to you)

Yes.. sob...lost in the bush, i was left with no option but to make my own decisions and think for myself...sometimes i wonder if it wouldve been so much easier to have grown up in a home where i didnt have to think for myself and could let the media formulate my opinions.

thanks for your forgiveness..it means

Ozleicester thank you for the reply without the abuse it suits you better . I agree with your last post entirely . The thing is that just makes me hate the rioters even more for giving a government an excuse to use even more power over us .

The abuse is merely a reaction to being called a fvckwit.and twat etc

Went to a meeting today at the VAL centre Newarke Street. It was with Citizens Eye which does community news. There was a discussion about if communities in deprived areas had gone. The conclusion was that because there were people coming out clearing up the mess it was still there. There was also talk about what could be done. It was suggested that the people needing help the most should be encouraged to get involved in improving where they live. And they should be listened to. We did all this by not calling each other ignorant so and so's or c*nts. Yes we did reflect on the olden days and how familes were closer and parents disciplined children or were allowed to. The main editors name is John Coster and there was an interview with him on Radio Leicester this afternoon. This can be seen on the Citizen website. Citizens Eye Jon Coster is actually an ex-offender and he freely admits it. When he was younger he got involved with some badtypes and finished up being done for blackmail. When released he said up a group to help exoffenders. I never listened to the whole interview. It was 45 min long and never had the time. He was intervied while at the meeting.

I offered to try and do an artical/s on real ale pubs in Leicester. Not quite helping the community type of article but may be of interest. They meet in a cafe in the Highcross on Tuesday mornings. I just thought that while I'm out of work it would be something worthwhile to do. There is also lots of voluntary work available.

If I get a part time job I may get more invoved with this sort of thing. May be more rewarding than a 9-5 job. I thought security was rewarding having to look after property etc but after what happened to me and considering the hours and pay I dont think that I was anymore appreciaated than any other job.

Oh dear me, so you believe you are capable of thinking, and listening to people as well. I wonder which people? Highly intellectual, scholastic, individuals, like yourself maybe?

Far be it from me to disillusion you If it keeps you happy, then carry on believing it, old chap.:rolleyes:

I've worked with John Coster. He's a top bloke. And his website is often a useful antidote to the often relentless negativity of the Mercury.

If you can find 30 minutes...

"If the young are not initiated in to the village, they will burn it down, just to feel its warmth" African proverb

I will repeat for the 4th time, i do not condone the rioters, i abhor the violence and support their arrest and fair punishement. But, watch ALL of this..and lets work out why it happened and how to move forward.

I may not agree will of 0zleicester posts but have you read the uotes you quoted.? You ask in response to

'Sadly, no secrets, dark deeds or bees in bonnets, just an opinion formed by thinking and listening to people from all walks of life'

Who has he spoken to? The answer is in the quotation. I assume this would mean the bloke in the pub who has an opinion on everything and would be able to run the country better than any politician to the higly informed groups that have studied the issues and are able to give unbiased reports based on their findings.

It is not enough just to say 'Shoot them all, they are scum' What will you do to the next generation shoot them as well? Who is going to decide who is put up against the wall and shot? Will you volunteer?

I am not getting at anybody here. The reaction to the riots were understanderble. Buisnesses were put at risk people were injured or killed and many involved had never been in trouble. But it was a gutshot reaction without looking at the wider picture.

What we have atm is Problem-result-solution-problem-result-solution what we need is problem-consultation-discussion-solution-action-problem resolved.

I am not a intelectual socialist individual by the way.

Have a look on the Citizens Eye website. Maybe you will want to go along to the next meeting and voice your opinion or volunteer your services to do something pro-active within your community. All are welcome.

http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/pictures-released-hunt-Leicester-city-centre-yobs/story-13180073-detail/story.html

Go to the link to see the photos.

Detectives hunting the thugs behind the night of violence and destruction in Leicester have released images of six more people they want to question.

The suspects were caught on camera in various areas of the city centre during the disturbances on the night of Tuesday, August 9, and the early hours of the following day.

The disorder lasted more than five hours and saw a number of shops and other businesses attacked.

Police officers were also pelted with bricks and bottles.

Detectives, who are still working through CCTV footage and might release further images, urged Mercury readers to put names to the men featured today.

Detective Constable William Beechey said: "Please take a look at these images. Do these people look familiar? If you know them, we would urge you to get in touch.

"We can assure you any information will be treated with the utmost confidence and if people are fearful of giving their names, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously."

So far, 31 people have been arrested in connection with offences such as violent disorder, criminal damage and burglary relating to the disturbances.

A further 59 people were arrested in the following days as police maintained a heavy presence in the city centre and continued to use extra powers enabling them to stop and search people and to ask people to remove face coverings.

City mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: "As the city is now getting back to normal, it is vital we ram home the message that the sort of behaviour we saw that night has no place here.

"The message needs to go out that the people who behaved in that way will face the consequences of their actions."

He added: "I would urge anyone who knows the suspects in these pictures to contact the police immediately.

"If these people were in the city centre that night for some other purpose then they will have the opportunity to explain that, and the police will eliminate them from their inquiries."

An officer who worked on the evening said it had been a "surreal" experience.

"I was running down streets I grew up in and worked on with people throwing bottles and bricks at me," said the officer, who asked not to be named.

"It seemed to be just a small group of people jumping on the bandwagon of what was happening elsewhere.

"It was just wanton destruction and violence. The question was running through my mind all the time, 'what pleasure can they derive from this?'.

"We do a lot of training for this type of situation, but what was different was this was at night, and people were throwing things at us from distance.

"You could see them putting all their body strength into throwing missiles at us.

"We knew these things were coming, but we couldn't see them coming out of the dark sky. We were basically waiting for something to hit us."

If you can name anyone in this latest batch of images, contact police on 0116 222 2222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
